So Wild Flag is headlining over Mission of Burma
Posted by Anonymous | May 9, 2012 10:14 AM
10:14 won $12M in the lottery, and complains that now he gets more junk mail
Posted by Anonymous | May 9, 2012 10:17 AM
Guess that $50 to get stress free reserved seats up front, seat side in performance beverage service, ALONG WITH Sigur Ros pre-sale codes kinda works for me! I Win!
Posted by Anonymous | May 9, 2012 10:18 AM
Wild Flag is kinda overrated.
Posted by Anonymous | May 9, 2012 10:22 AM
Remember the Sigur Ros on sale?
Posted by Anonymous | May 9, 2012 10:24 AM
Wild Flag, for $3, under the stars > sitting at home spanking the monkey
Posted by Anonymous | May 9, 2012 10:24 AM
Kinda disappointing, no? Looks like fewer shows and not as good as past years.
Posted by Anonymous | May 9, 2012 10:26 AM
burma should be headlining, but wild flag probably has a higher density of fans right now
Posted by Anonymous | May 9, 2012 10:27 AM
best place to see a show in new york. WILCO!!!!!!!!!!

MEH

10:18 $50 only gets you into the gate no line and presale - no reserved seats. Reserved seats are $75. Unless your Mom got you the family pass 4 for $200? Which... I'd believe from a BV commenter. what a sick lineup, wow
Posted by Anonymous | May 9, 2012 10:33 AM
10:17 holy hyperbole
Posted by Anonymous | May 9, 2012 10:38 AM
Clearly the benefit acts are paying for top notch free shows: burma/ wild flag, lyle lovett (his shows hover around $75 for tix), Del McCoury (saw them years ago at PP- and they were great), Head and Heart/ Lost In Trees, Keb Mo, Jimmy Cliff, Laura Marling. Lots here to enjoy for FREE.

10:30 - I don't know about the other guy, but I spent $75 and will be sitting up front, and writing the nut off on my taxes as well. I thought it was a good deal before I even saw the line up, but now I am a happy camper indeed.

I wish Burma was headlining so I could leave before Burma
Posted by Anonymous | May 9, 2012 10:43 AM
Too much roots/country and too many movie sing-alongs, and no fusion jazz this year, but overall a pretty good assemblage.

Few complainers here today. Did I reach the wrong website?

Why is Northside Fest the only one of these big events with good hip hop. Ultra-magnetic MCs, GZA, etc. I mean not a single hip hip show. Dumb.

Look at the list again, 11:20. Lyricist Lounge show with Ghostface.

Posted by Anonymous | May 9, 2012 3:44 PM

Does anyone know if there is a sound/noise ordinance at Prospect Park that requires the shows to end by a certain time?
