Posted by Anonymous | May 11, 2012 12:06 PM

Lekman show wil be the best show of the summer. Seriously. Top three bands on bill are some of the best performers out there.

Posted by Anonymous | May 11, 2012 12:06 PM

Posted by Anonymous | May 11, 2012 12:06 PM

Posted by Anonymous | May 11, 2012 12:08 PM

Posted by Anonymous | May 11, 2012 12:09 PM

calling BS, was online in multiple windows the second they went onsale - nothing.

Posted by Anonymous | May 11, 2012 12:11 PM

Does multiple windows work? I thought TM would block you if it noticed multiple searches from the same IP...

Posted by Anonymous | May 11, 2012 12:12 PM

Wallflowers sold out immediately. Weird.

Posted by Anonymous | May 11, 2012 12:14 PM

it has to be multiple windows in different types of browsers.

Posted by Anonymous | May 11, 2012 12:15 PM

they made it non will call so bowery presents could sell these tickets on stubhub. Unreal!

Posted by Anonymous | May 11, 2012 12:17 PM

You can use multiple windows as long as they are different browsers.

Posted by Anonymous | May 11, 2012 12:17 PM

Thanks 12:15....will try that next time...

Posted by Anonymous | May 11, 2012 12:18 PM

Why does it still let you search for tickets? It's fucking insulting.

Posted by Anonymous | May 11, 2012 12:19 PM

Occupy Bowery Presents. Who wants to join me!

Posted by Anonymous | May 11, 2012 12:27 PM

12:27: IN!

Posted by Anonymous | May 11, 2012 12:28 PM

I bought 8 tickets during the presale...the band said nothing would be available today..go and buy from me on stubhub for $190
..thanks!

Posted by Anonymous | May 11, 2012 12:36 PM

This is all designed to help sell tickets for the T5 show which is nowhere near sold out.

Posted by Anonymous | May 11, 2012 12:45 PM

1236 no retard would pay 190 for afghan whigs at bowery. Maybe for sonic youth/pavement @ bowery. that would be a fantastic show.

Posted by Anonymous | May 11, 2012 1:35 PM

12:06 - I agree, if your a fucking retard with no musical taste it will be an epic event to be seen at. You should fit right in ;-P

Posted by Anonymous | May 11, 2012 2:07 PM

Wow from reading these comments it seems the whigs draw quite a dumb crowd.

Posted by ME | May 11, 2012 2:12 PM

I don't see anyone on Stubhub selling 8 tickets for 190. Lies.

Posted by Anonymous | May 11, 2012 4:45 PM

I love when people blame Ticketmaster. The promoter and the band loves when people blame TM as well. TM is the scapegoat; they just distribute the tickets. Usually it's decisions made by the band's management or the promoter that end up screwing the fan.
In this particular case, the band decided to play a venue too small for them. On purpose. To create hype. To piss off fans, but ultimately to get them to buy tickets to their ATP festival or T5 show instead (because now that they've been shut out, subconsciously they're determined to get a ticket now).

^You've never heard of an underplay???

Posted by Anonymous | May 11, 2012 5:39 PM

Yes, 5:39. I was explaining "underplay" because not everyone knows industry lingo.

Posted by Anonymous | May 11, 2012 6:34 PM

as always, crappy ticket sale management!

Posted by Anonymous | May 12, 2012 9:27 AM

I don't think underplay is working..I see a Whigs ticket from T5 $10 or so under face on ebay that has been sitting there for days...

Posted by Anonymous | May 14, 2012 7:26 AM

Whigs: I was one of the lucky tiny few to get two via the fan presale. It was an unexpected miracle. Thanks bv. But for sure, this Bowery show is going to be full of industry wankers and their Instagramming temporary girlfriends. Fitting, I suppose.
