Kiss It Goodbye
Kiss it Goodbye

As discussed, the recently reunited Kiss it Goodbye is now an active band, albeit missing some of their original personnel. The band recently announced the addition of Jim Winters (Starkweather, Turmoil, Earth Crisis, The Promise) to their lineup and with that intact, it was just a matter of time before KiG announced an NYC show. That day has come. Kiss it Goodbye will play Acheron on June 1st with Tiger Flowers and Fashion Week. Details on additional shows, if they exist, are still on the way.

Members of Rorschach (specifically Gormely and Huckins) will NOT participate in the reunion, but they will play NYC at LPR (with Converge, tickets) as well as Maryland Deathfest.

D...is this OK?

Kiss the scabs goodbye

Posted by Anonymous | May 8, 2012 4:03 PM

3:50pm No, it is not ok.

This Kiss It Goodbye shit is just that: a Kiss It Goodbye cover band calling themselves Kiss It Goodbye because Huckins and Gormsley are not in the band.

Tim Singer is still a dick like he was in 1992 and 1996 and beyond. The guy ditched hardcore towards the end of No Escape and now he's popping up years later with like someone said "a bunch of randos".

Fuck him and his preaching straightedge, veganism (whichever), and the evils of animal testing in 1988-90 then drinking, smoking, wearing a leather jacket, and eating meat in 1992. The guy is the phoniest of the phony and wack for calling his shit Kiss It Goodbye. Start a new band. You can still play the songs Huckins and Gormsley wrote haha. Dick.

^Thanks D but please remember to always post under "D". After all your preaching on the importance of posting under a "name," you don't want to stoop to the level of us "Anonymous" folks now do ya?

Posted by Anonymous | May 8, 2012 8:35 PM

Hahaha thanks, dick. First time I didn't post as D. Funny how I'm D even when I post Anonymous-ly huh? Maybe cuz I am D not Anonymous? Yep.

I don't see the big deal. I used to be nailed to the X and now I drink white wine. If you're not now you never was.

So, is I assume then that Rusnack won't be playing the Rorschach show? Damn.

Posted by anonymous | May 9, 2012 10:22 AM

simply put, it's not kiss it goodbye without two of the defining members of the band. lame.

Posted by Anonymous | May 9, 2012 10:37 AM

No,Rusnack is playing the Rorschach shows. They are a week previous to this.

Posted by Anonymous | May 9, 2012 2:17 PM

Rusnack isn't in Kiss It Goodbye Cover Band Calling Themselves Kiss It Goodbye either

KIGCBCTKIG is Tim and whoever.

Posted by D | May 10, 2012 1:23 AM

their facebook page says rusnak is playing in the band again. personaly my favorite kig is choke which doesn't have keith huckins on it anyway. i saw kig open for avail in 97 and keith huckins seemed like he was bored and didn't want to be there. otherwise the band was ok. i'm witholding judgement until i see them in pomona.
