So its the same rules as GoogaMooga but you posted this because its a festival curated by Jay-Z???

Posted by Anonymous | May 22, 2012 1:14 PM

How many "Made in America" artists are not from America?

Posted by Anonymous | May 22, 2012 1:15 PM

Oh cool, dildos are allowed in! Yeah!!

Posted by Anonymous | May 22, 2012 1:15 PM

X, as in Excene and John Doe X?

Posted by Anonymous | May 22, 2012 1:16 PM

Damn, I was so going to bring a kite to this!

Posted by Anonymous | May 22, 2012 1:16 PM

I guess it is X... and as awesome as that is, they seem out of place on that lineup

Posted by Anonymous | May 22, 2012 1:18 PM

No glo-sticks?
You mean I can't RAVE OUT when skrillex drops the Bass?

Posted by Anonymous | May 22, 2012 1:21 PM

D'Angelo playing here is criminal. No artist, regardless of size, should be able to do their first domestic shows in years at a non-ATP festival.

Posted by Anonymous | May 22, 2012 1:24 PM

D'Angelo! I want to do cartwheels right now!!

Posted by Anonymous | May 22, 2012 1:24 PM

More importantly, ARCHERS OF LOAF are play 4knots!!!

Posted by Anonymous | May 22, 2012 1:24 PM

Can you bring in factory sealed hummus containers?

Posted by Anonymous | May 22, 2012 1:30 PM

If hummus was outlawed only outlaws would eat hummus.

Posted by Anonymous | May 22, 2012 1:32 PM

1:18 - I thought the same thing

Posted by Anonymous | May 22, 2012 1:32 PM

1:16 - probably another new band that named themselves X. Look for another post in approx 3 weeks about how they changed their name to something that is in all caps has at least 2 symbols in it.

Posted by Anonymous | May 22, 2012 1:34 PM

only pj and X is worth seeing on this list so far...cant believe this shit show aint free....they do free shows at that place all the time...cant see how they are making it a ticketing event

Posted by Anonymous | May 22, 2012 1:34 PM

too bad it's in philly

Posted by Anonymous | May 22, 2012 1:36 PM

@1:14 - I thought the same thing. BV is a a closet racist troll

Posted by Anonymous | May 22, 2012 1:39 PM

Does this cost $? Is this exciting or something?

Posted by Anonymous | May 22, 2012 1:39 PM

LOL at people acting like that lineup isn't worth $99. Didn't you all pay $175 on stubhub to see Jack White last night?

Posted by Anonymous | May 22, 2012 1:41 PM

is it just me, or are there just not many bands / artists that are headline worthy anymore?

Posted by Anonymous | May 22, 2012 1:45 PM

1:14 & 1:39#1 - I don't understand the "BV is a closet racist" allegations. All the dude did was post relevant ticketing info about an upcoming huge music festival in our general area. What on Earth is wrong with that?

Posted by Anonymous | May 22, 2012 1:50 PM

Yeah it is a decent line up for the money. D'Angelo playing at a festival is criminal but have to expect that he will do a show in NYC around that time as well.
Don't sweat the pricing plan or that the 99 tickets are gone. This place is pretty big and there will be tons of tickets around to be had come that week. Should be able to find one for around the 99 mark or even cheaper if you get the stupid New Yorkers who bought tix and then cannot go and have to dump em.

Posted by Anonymous | May 22, 2012 1:51 PM

philly is the city of brotherly love, if you know what i mean

Posted by Anonymous | May 22, 2012 1:57 PM

@151 word, same with coachella tix.

Posted by Anonymous | May 22, 2012 1:57 PM

I live in Philly, down the street from the overall location of this festival. I really can't see how they could charge money for a festival on the Parkway though. There's no way I am paying to see this weak lineup in action but I'll definitely at least walk down to see what it's like.

Posted by Anonymous | May 22, 2012 2:02 PM

@202 good luck getting out of your apartment with the race riot going on outside between Jay-Z and Pearl Jam fans

Posted by Anonymous | May 22, 2012 2:07 PM

Jay Z is the worst ever. Bottle service hop hop for investment bankers trying to act "street".

Posted by Anonymous | May 22, 2012 2:22 PM

Coachella? Clearly you did not hear of the nightmare stories of peeps showing up thinking they'd score a below face ticket (at weekend one....and really? who wants sloppy seconds?). They were hard as shit to come by below face. The key bit is for Coachella it's a three day pass so face is still close to $400.

That being said, this will be easy to get into and Skrillex opening for PJ...epic in the weirdest way possible.

Lastly - fuck off if you think PJ fans are racists. You're a fucking stupid cunt.

Posted by Anonymous | May 22, 2012 2:22 PM

^I am not sure what you are talking about? I have at least 4 friends who live in Cali and every year(including this one) they get Coachella tix the week of for less than face or face. But never over.

Posted by Anonymous | May 22, 2012 2:27 PM

@ 2:07 - you are a moron

Posted by Anonymous | May 22, 2012 2:30 PM

A lineup consisting of music for people who don't really listen to music.

Posted by Anonymous | May 22, 2012 2:56 PM

"Oh cool, dildos are allowed in! Yeah!!"

Um....
"The following items are NOT ALLOWED
• Weapons of any kind"

:D

2:22, so true. I've been saying the same thing for years. I don't get the hype. He's good, but I can name at least 5 rappers who are better.
