Polica, whose tour hit Maxwell's on Sunday (5/13), stopped by Pianos last night (5/15) for a private show presented by Good Ear Music Supervision. The show was the smallest NYC venue the band has played in a while, after moving up in the world in the wake of their debut LP, Give You the Ghost. Needless to say, the place was packed. They took the stage a bit before 9:40 and played a number of choice cuts from the LP like "Dark Star" and "Leading to Death," in addition to some new ones.
