Just a reminder: Tickets for The xx's August 2 show at Terminal 5 will go on sale Friday, June 1 at Noon with an AmEx presale on Thursday, May 31 at Noon. That is all.

Got one through their pre-sale which started at a completely random time (guess it helps to pay attention to Facebook during the day).

I really like the first album and I hope the sophomore release is just as good. Still, isn't $45 + fees a bit steep for this band? I have no idea. I've never seen the XX live. However, I believe it sets a dangerous precedent where bands with only one album are already playing T5 at $45.

@956 they played/sold out united palace theatre on their first album tour. tickets were like $37.50 before fees for that show.

XX was seriously one of the most boring bands I've ever seen live. My wife and I left after only 4 songs. Don't waste your money, especially considering that it's at T5.

Saw them at Lollapalooza and they were decent live. Probably wouldn't pay to see them at their own show unless it were <$20

Not sure if 10:08 is right about United Palace, but when xx played Webster Hall in March of 2010, the tickets were only 20$ each.

@1053 the united palace show was october 2010 with zola jesus and warpaint. balcony tickets were $25, orchestra tickets were $35.
