This train is no longer making all stops
Van Halen

Yes, kind of fighting... David Lee Roth was like "why aren't you talking to me, Ed? Cat got your tongue?" and Eddie punched him in the face.

And in some dark room, Gary Cherone has just woke and said "I am back baby!"

that's awesome

i expect a big turnout at the unchained performance at googa mooga tomorrow now

A new kind of truth indeed..I like how it is randomly picked to postpone after June 26

Posted by Anonymous | May 18, 2012 1:27 PM

hahahahahahaahaha....this band BLOWS!

Posted by Anonymous | May 18, 2012 1:28 PM

haven't been good since 1984

postponed venues wouldn't honor the M&Ms clause in their rider

Bland Halen

If you listen to this band you deserve to be disappointed

Posted by Anonymous | May 18, 2012 1:51 PM

so what time is Radiohead's set?

Posted by Anonymous | May 18, 2012 2:00 PM

can't wait to hear this excuse...

Posted by Anonymous | May 18, 2012 2:05 PM

Van Halen > Radiohead
If you think differently, you are a cock-drunk faggot

Posted by Anonymous | May 18, 2012 2:06 PM

I heard the reason why tensions were high is because David lee Roth was constantly double dipping his pita triangle into the tour bus hummus platter and Eddie is a germ freak and it was just too much for him to handle.

I'm going with poor ticket sales. The two shows at MSG earlier this year didn't exactly sell like hot cakes, and I can't imagine them drawing bigger crowds at places like the Izod Center.

Posted by Anonymous | May 18, 2012 2:10 PM

Could be related to Eddie's cancer?

Posted by Anonymous | May 18, 2012 2:12 PM

^ 2:10, you are an uninformed asswipe. Those two shows featured sold out seats, excellent performances, and universally positive reviews. You, on the other hand, are still trying to be listened to by family and friends while you tell their fortunes with that big Kretzkan hat.

Posted by Anonymous | May 18, 2012 2:13 PM

2:06 have you listened to:Fair Warning, Diver Down, OU812, Balance and Van Halen III before? Rest my case.

Posted by Anonymous | May 18, 2012 2:14 PM

2:14's got a point...

Advantage Radiohead

Posted by Anonymous | May 18, 2012 2:19 PM

2;13 you are the one who is wrong wrong wrong. The shows were so not sold out. I and many others were able to get tickets for less than face the days of the show. And the only people who were raving were VH fanatics like yourself who mass infiltrated blogs to tell us all how mind blowing the shows were. I love Van Halen but frankly these shows were kind of a joke.

The recent Esquire interview said that Eddie still has cancer and just had more of his tongue removed because of it. Hopefully that is the reason but that could be likely.

Posted by Anonymous | May 18, 2012 2:29 PM

Old dudes never come through in the clutch.

Posted by Anonymous | May 18, 2012 2:30 PM

2:14 - Fair Warning is a five star album. you been smoking too much banana peels

Posted by Anonymous | May 18, 2012 2:33 PM

^yikes..5 stars...out of 100 right

Posted by Anonymous | May 18, 2012 2:35 PM

If you don't like it, fine. But you cannot argue with a consensus opinion, over literally thousands of contributors, who have validated this claim (5 stars). Of course, I guess for you it's no Grimes or Florence and The Machine, you little cock-drunk faggot.

Well, there goes the ol' family road trip summer vacation I guess. I was especially looking forward to that Cleveland through Greenville string of dates.

Posted by Anonymous | May 18, 2012 2:43 PM

2:13 - I was there for night 1 at MSG and it was most definitely not sold out. I bought 4 tickets 10 rows from the side of the stage for $80/ea (50% less than face) on Stubhub, and I probably could have had them even cheaper if I just grabbed one outside the venue before the show. The place was far from sold out.

I'm also pretty sure they didn't sell anything in the 400 section for night 2, since I didn't see a single seat listed in those sections on Stubhub at all for that particular show.

"I'm pretty sure ..." = everything after that is a lie
Nice try skippy.

Posted by Anonymous | May 18, 2012 2:49 PM

2:40 Fair Warnig is ok. but What about the other 4 albums 2:14 said...try and defend those turds!

"I'm pretty sure ..." = everything after that is a lie

Delusional idiot

I like the new album. Hey call me nostalgic but a couple of times a year I jerk off to Susannah Hoffs, Madonna, and Sheena Easton. Sheila E. has always stayed in the lineup as did Donna Summer (R.I.P.) Other than that I get my material from or Take that brooklynvegans. VH rule!

Posted by Mr. Kisses | May 18, 2012 3:05 PM

Sweet, now I can definitely go to Furthur.

Posted by Anonymous | May 18, 2012 3:06 PM

I was there night 1 at msg. I saw v few empty seats, but then again, I was pretty close and wasn't looking to see what was behind me. You know, paid money to see a band play, not survey the attendance, that's what I have you guys to do.

Posted by Anonymous | May 18, 2012 3:13 PM

Stability Van Halen is not. What a surprise.

Posted by Anonymous | May 18, 2012 3:20 PM

Was there the first night at MSG. Had nosebleeds in like 419 and they moved everyone in the section down to the 100s. So, yeah not sold out.

Good show though. Hope it's fighting and not health related.

Posted by Anonymous | May 18, 2012 3:26 PM

We were pretty excited about the additional shows and the Columbus Ohio one in particular. What happened?

Posted by Steve | May 18, 2012 3:54 PM

couldn't you have said 'in like 420'?

Posted by Anonymous | May 18, 2012 3:56 PM

Hardcore VH fans consider Fair Warning to be up there with the best of all the albums, especially EVH's playing - his peak of creativity as a guitarist.
Diver Down is one of the most fun albums in their discography.
Lighter, yes, but it has a lot of character, and has Hang 'em High, Little Guitars, The Full Bug, Cathedral, Pretty Woman, etc.
That's a good album. But the lesser Hagar albums don't hold up at all.

Posted by Anonymous | May 18, 2012 6:47 PM

no one cares

Posted by Anonymous | May 18, 2012 6:53 PM

so now reports are all saying they are fine and the tour will actually extend and expand once they have a rest to re-energize.
the amazing thing is how quickly Sammy Hagar opened his yap.
There's an AP wire with his reaction. he never misses an opportunity.

Posted by Anonymous | May 18, 2012 8:13 PM

Alex broke his toe

Posted by Anonymous | May 18, 2012 8:50 PM

Sammy had something to say? I guess he needed to drum up support for the four tix for the price of one promo I received for Chickenfoot at the Beacon....

Posted by Anonymous | May 18, 2012 9:40 PM

Cabo Wabo dudes!

Posted by Sammy H | May 20, 2012 10:26 PM

Van Halen has been my favorite band for along time. But now I just really want to say what has been on my mind for the past week. Van Halen...TIME TO GROW UP!!! Your loseing fans because your all acking like kids, grow up and get your acked together or you'll lose me as a fan.

Posted by Devin Hall | May 21, 2012 1:41 PM

i dont give a rats ass about your dizzy opinions. these guys were great back in the day. the problem stems from years ago when dlr wanted to practice his liplocking skills on the band van halen is dead!!! let them rest

Posted by osirisice | May 24, 2012 10:58 PM

maybe it was todd jensen that caused this
