Debut show for GOOD SPORTS = Sarah Datblygu (Wetdog) and two novice female songwriters/singers. Should be interesting girl-garage...

Posted by D | May 29, 2012 6:28 PM

Posted by Anonymous | May 29, 2012 6:54 PM

whoever the fu ck you are stop it - you are hurting my integrity

Posted by D | May 29, 2012 7:03 PM

All of you ANONYMOUS herbs need to stop impersonating me. Typical trust fund hipster bitches. You are cowards.

Posted by D | May 29, 2012 7:46 PM

I love Keith Morris, but he does look like the Cowardly Lion

"put em up, put em up"

Posted by Anonymous | May 29, 2012 7:49 PM

OK, 7:46, I'll play along. If you are the real D, when was the last post, outside of this thread, that you have written. And not like "I posted I like John Bon Jovi" I want to know the date and time. OK, GO!

Posted by D's Not D | May 29, 2012 7:52 PM

Keith Morris can suck it

Posted by D | May 29, 2012 7:57 PM

I didn't think so 7:46. You poseur bitch!! Everyone knows I've never respected Keith Morris.

Posted by D | May 29, 2012 8:17 PM

Posted by G | May 29, 2012 8:44 PM

trust fund hipsters can suck it.

Posted by Anonymous | May 29, 2012 8:45 PM

I listen to The Germs.

Posted by V | May 29, 2012 8:46 PM

Dustin Wong? Really?

Posted by Anonymous | May 29, 2012 8:51 PM

Why do people hate Bon Jovi? They are like Led Zeppelin without the jamming.

Posted by Anonymous | May 29, 2012 8:54 PM

Bon Jovi is similar to Zeppelin, but cheesed out.

Posted by Anonymous | May 29, 2012 9:00 PM

Bon Jovi??? Really???

Posted by Anonymous | May 29, 2012 9:07 PM

Is D actually Bon Jovi?

Posted by Anonymous | May 29, 2012 9:12 PM

Bon Jovi made stellar albums. They weren't cheesy until the New Jersey album. That was all hype and sucked. But before that album, they were as awesome as Led Zeppelin.

Posted by D | May 29, 2012 9:20 PM

9:00 ftw

Posted by Anonymous | May 29, 2012 9:21 PM

Fuck anyone that hates Bon Jovi. Fucking poseurs.

Posted by Anonymous | May 29, 2012 9:45 PM

lotta hate going on today - might as well keep justified. The Coathangers fuckin suck shit

Posted by Anonymous | May 29, 2012 9:57 PM

Why on earth would anyone hate Keith Morris? Circle Jerks were amazing. OFF! is fun too, though more of a late side project.

D: Fuck you. I think you're a washed up pile of shit.

Posted by Anonymous | May 29, 2012 10:49 PM

I certainly do t like him

Posted by Anonymous | May 29, 2012 11:24 PM

10:49 go fu ck yourself - He's a junkie sack of shit who has been around for 30 years doing nothing - name 3 good albums he's done? - Bon Jovi is by far the superior performer

Posted by D | May 29, 2012 11:28 PM

Ween is apparently no more :(

Posted by Anonymous | May 29, 2012 11:31 PM

10:49pm Washed up pile of shit? Haha.

If anyone is "a washed up pile of shit" it's Keith Morris pretending like it's 1981-83.

Off! doesn't suck but I don't see the fascination with them at all. Ok I get it, Keith Morris from Black Flag and Circle Jerks is in it, so is some dude who is a sort of skater and another dude from a not so big indie rock band. Next. And? What else? They are generic early '80s Cali hardcore at best thus doing nothing new. The only "new" thing about the band is it's new music not oldies bullshit but it's a sad day when a big selling point for a band is they're doing something new when playing new music was the norm for DECADES and is still the norm as people are putting out new music all the time, it's just you dipshits who buy only what magazines and blogs feed you don't know it.

Put it to you this way:

If Off! didn't have Keith Morris and wasn't on Vice Records, no one would be giving them anywhere close to the attention they're getting. 'Like Cerebral Ballzy wouldn't be getting direct support slots on Refused and Off! if they weren't on Adult Swim's record label and that label wasn't paying FYF (the promoter of these shows) to have CB play them.

Oh yeah, all you "I love Off!, hate hardcore" dickheads who went to see Off! last night can EAT SHIT. We "hardcores" hate you and you are absolutely nothing close to what we were in the '80s and early '90s: real people. Off! formed a few years ago and you think they're the last punk band. Your time is up - oh wait, you never had a time. If you did it was probably 198X-8X/9X or 199X-9X and now you're back from hibernation. Go away. Like Off! should if their third "album" is another 16 songs in under 16 minutes. BTW a record under I'd say 30 minutes is not an "album" it's an EP, stop calling Off!'s new record an "album".

Posted by D | May 29, 2012 11:37 PM

Couldn't they find a better picture of Keith Morris?

Posted by Anonymous | May 30, 2012 12:13 AM

11:37 bringing the goods. i just came back from the off! show at the bowery ballroom. they don't suck. but they're not that great either, as i started to realize during their set and walking home after the show. they put on a good show but i don't think i'll be seeing them again. i certainly will not be seeing cerebral ballzy again. holy hell that's an awful band. "this next song is about skipping class! this next song is about eating fast food and titties!" lol what a joke.

Listen to the germs... they're telling you to wash your hands more often

Posted by Anonymous | May 30, 2012 9:42 AM

why would the germs be telling you to wash your hands more often? that would kill the germs.

Posted by Anonymous | May 30, 2012 9:56 AM

if you look up "hard and fast lifestyle" in the dictionary, that is the picture you'll see. wow.

Posted by Anonymous | May 30, 2012 10:02 AM

D, spending extended time on Brooklyn Vegan, schooling 'hipsters' on what HARDCORE REALLY IS. Quite the achievement. He's doing major work.

Posted by Dave | May 30, 2012 10:37 AM

Dave L ftw

Posted by Anonymous | May 30, 2012 10:58 AM

D, spending extended time on C-Town, schooling 'customers' on which isle the PICKLES ARE LOCATED. Quite the achievement. He's doing major work.

Posted by Dave | May 30, 2012 11:45 AM

Hardcore is the place where future band members meet before they make their important relevant music. It's basically analogous to the lettuce field related to the 4-star restaurant.
