Bobby Womack

Still no word on the new date for Bobby Womack's free Central Park show with Willis Earl Beal that was supposed to go down this Thursday (6/7) but was postponed. However, Bobby just announced a paid show which will go down in NYC on July 3 at Music Hall of Williamsburg. Hopefully this means Bobby is getting better and the rescheduled Central Park date will be announced soon. Tickets for that show go on sale Friday (6/8) at noon. No sign of whether or not it's part of a larger tour, but all currently known dates are listed below.

In other news, Bobby is streaming his new, Damon Albarn-produced album, The Bravest Man In The Universe, in full at NPR.

Bobby Womack -- 2012 Tour Dates

7/21 Chene Park Detroit, MI w/ Isley Brothers

I'm shocked he'd let them take a publicity shot of him while he was on the toilet.
