Dinosaur Jr.

Dinosaur Jr. will release their new album, I Bet on Sky, on Sept 18 via Jagjaguar. It's the band's third album since reforming the original line-up of J. Mascis, Lou Barlow and Murph back in 2005. (They've been together two years longer than their original late-80s run.) You can check out the rad cover art and tracklist to I Bet on Sky at the bottom of this post.

If you were wondering if there might be a tour for the new album, well of course there is but there's no NYC date as of yet but you can catch Lou with Sebadoh at Bowery Ballroom on August 22. (Tickets are still available.) All current Dino Jr. dates are listed below.

I love this band. There chapter in the book This Band Can Be Your Life is classic. J Mascis is portrayed like such an asshole but I guess we all knew that...

I was at the photoshoot, and the reason he is smiling is because the cameraman was waving a pita triangle in the air.
