FYF

FYF Fest. September 1st and 2nd, 2012
At the LA State Historic Park, Los Angeles, CA
Tickets are $77 and go on sale Friday June 22nd.
WOW.

Quicksand recently reunited at Revelation Records' 25th Anniversary on the West Coast, and I would't be surprised if they do the same at Irving Plaza in October.

American Nightmare has two shows coming up at Webster Hall.

this is really impressive. NYC's two day fests (Governor's Ball, Catalpa) are jokes compared to this...

Posted by Anonymous | June 18, 2012 1:45 PM

cheap, all things considered

Posted by Anonymous | June 18, 2012 1:47 PM

Quicksand, Hot Snakes, Liars. Awesome!

Angry white boy aggro is the worst kind of "music"

Who the fuck still listens to Sleigh Bells?

wow we need a fest exactly like this in nyc

Posted by Anonymous | June 18, 2012 2:06 PM

Some really bad band names nowadays.

Posted by Anonymous | June 18, 2012 2:13 PM

now this is a festival. totally agree it blows away the recent NYC fests.

Posted by Anonymous | June 18, 2012 2:19 PM

Too bad M83 sold out.

Posted by Anonymous | June 18, 2012 2:20 PM

Jesus fucking christ.

Posted by Anonymous | June 18, 2012 2:33 PM

Catalpa = Sabra with stale pita
Governors Ball = Trader Joes with baby carrots
FYF fest = a robust platter with ALL the fixens!

as happens each summer, self-loathing transplants realize that L.A. would have been a much more interesting place to spend their parents' money.

Posted by Anonymous | June 18, 2012 2:47 PM

Best fest of the year by far

Posted by Anonymous | June 18, 2012 2:57 PM

A veritable who's who of suck.

Posted by Anonymous | June 18, 2012 3:19 PM

why, 2:47? i can spend my parents' money on a plane ticket and then come back to nyc.

american nightmare- cashcow

Posted by Anonymous | June 18, 2012 4:31 PM

QUICKSAND!!!!!!!!!!

Posted by Anonymous | June 19, 2012 7:52 AM

Amazeballs! And only a mere $77. Governor's Ball could learn a thing or two from FYF, both in terms of curating good artists and not gouging it's attendees.

There is a decent festival in Dover Deleware that is getting no press here...Killers, Jack White, Black Keys, Flaming Lips, Passion Pit..

A good insight and ideas.. I will use it in my article. You’ve obviously spent a lot of time on this. Congratulations!

What an impressive line -up, probably to attract a lot of people at the event. I'll be there, for sure!
We recommend to you, because it's just good music.
