Menomena at BV-SXSW 2012 (more by Amanda Hatfield)

Menomena have been revealing some dates for this fall which will most likely result in a full tour. That announcement hasn't come yet but we know that the band will be in NYC for a show on October 11 at Bowery Ballroom. Tickets for that show go on sale Friday (6/15) at noon with an AmEx presale starting Wednesday (6/13) at noon. All currently known dates are listed below.

According to the band's website, they're working on their fifth record this year. In the meantime, there's some new music they're offering as a free download on the site which came from a recording session with Menomena's Danny Seim along with Matt Dabrowiak, Nick Jaina and Dave Depper.

In related news, Ramona Falls, the project of Brent Knopf who left Menomena last year, is currently on a tour which brings him to NYC this week for shows on Wednesday (6/13) at Glasslands (tickets) and Thursday (6/14) at Mercury Lounge (tickets).
