Old 97's

Too Far To Care was a magical moment for the 97's. Starry-eyed and flush with confidence thanks to our brand-new deal with Elektra, we felt no fear, just giddy excitement. An adventurous producer and a world champion A&R guy shepherded us through the recording process. And when it was all over, we had captured our little bit of lightning in a bottle. I love Too Far To Care and can't wait to play it in its entirety across the USA. - Rhett Miller
It's the 15th anniversary of what is generally regarded as the finest work by Old 97's and, like so many longtime musicians these days, the band are celebrating by dusting off the record and taking it out on tour, playing it front-to-back. One of the tour's stops is in NYC at Webster Hall on October 23 with Salim Nourallah and an opening acoustic set by Old '97s frontman Rhett Miller. Tickets for that show go on sale Friday (6/29) at noon with an AmEx presale beginning today (6/27) at noon.

In addition to the tour, Too Far to Care, is getting the deluxe reissue treatment this fall, including its first-ever vinyl pressing. Tour poster, plus all Old 97's tour dates are listed below.
