Radiohead at Prudential Center 6/1/2012 (photo by Klaus Kinski)
Radiohead May 31

Radiohead played the Prudential Center in New Jersey for a second night in a row. (Last night's pics are here.) Tonight we got "Paranoid Android" and Hail to the Thief's "Go to Sleep" which hasn't been played live in ages. They finished their 23-song set with a cover of R.E.M.'s "The One I Love" which segued into "Everything in Its Right Place." Check out the entire setlist below.

Sorry I was first.

Worlds better than last night

Posted by Anonymous | June 1, 2012 11:11 PM

Thursday (show I was at) got Nude, There There, Karma Police, Weird Fishes, and You And Whose Army.
Friday got Paradnoid Android, Go To Sleep, How To Disappear Completely, Kid A, and Pyramid Song.

All the other songs overlapped even if the order changed. I'd take Friday over my show admittedly but the gap isn't SO big.

Posted by The Difference Was | June 1, 2012 11:13 PM

I was at both nights and i actually found Thursday's the better show. Could not really give a shit about Kid A, Pyramid Song, Go to Sleep or Paranoid Android. How to Disappear was nice if not a little messy

Felt last night's performance was just a little more playful and they seemed looser.

Truthfully both shows could easily be exchanged as the better. And of course both Roseland shows were better than both of these.

"Worlds better than last night"

You are an idiot and were so not at last night's show to say something that stupid and wrong

Posted by Anonymous | June 1, 2012 11:37 PM

FIRST NIGHT > SECOND NIGHT 100%

Posted by Anonymous | June 1, 2012 11:59 PM

LET'S GO METS!

Posted by Anonymous | June 2, 2012 12:13 AM

How in the hell is this up already?! BV, y'all don't play! And how fitting was it that they covered R.E.M. 's " The One I Love". Michael Stipe was there; sat two rows from me.

Posted by Anonymous | June 2, 2012 12:16 AM

I was there last night, and as much as I would have loved to see Paranoid Android, Nude made up for it 3000%, wouldn't trade that for anything

Posted by Anonymous | June 2, 2012 12:17 AM

man, was the screw-up in Idioteque as bad last night as it was tonight?

Posted by Anonymous | June 2, 2012 12:27 AM

Someone's working overtime at BV.

Posted by Anonymous | June 2, 2012 12:42 AM

the Idioteque screw-up was even worse tonight. (this time he ended with "ah, fuck it" instead of "oh shit.") why does Thom act surprised?

Posted by Anonymous | June 2, 2012 12:46 AM

yall should just move on and listen 2 elite gymnastics

Posted by Anonymous | June 2, 2012 1:23 AM

Would it be the worst thing in the world to throw a few more ok and bends songs in there? Jeebus - the new album is boring and the last time they were here they (roseland) they ran rampant thru it then too

Posted by Anonymous | June 2, 2012 1:36 AM

Fuck the path train

Posted by Nj transit | June 2, 2012 1:58 AM

Looks like a great set!

Posted by Tech Guy | June 2, 2012 2:07 AM

The PATH train is fucken terrible.

Posted by Anonymous | June 2, 2012 2:08 AM

Bloody Brilliant show tonight boys.

Posted by Anonymous | June 2, 2012 2:21 AM

Was at both shows, liked this set better than last night. Glad I got to see Nude though.

Posted by Anonymous | June 2, 2012 2:22 AM

See you in Camden and Toronto.

Posted by Anonymous | June 2, 2012 2:42 AM

WTF, again no Creep. Do they have something against their fans?

Posted by Anonymous | June 2, 2012 3:19 AM

Fuck NJ Transit and bitching about old Radiohead songs

Posted by Anonymous | June 2, 2012 4:20 AM

The show was pretty solid, but how is is possible to mess up Paranoid Android? Even Weezer knew all the words when I saw them

Posted by Anonymous | June 2, 2012 4:43 AM

Is is just me or have they become a little boring?

Posted by Anonymous | June 2, 2012 5:40 AM

I am a casual fan or radiohead, and I had a great time at this show. The crowd was really great, (at least in the area around me) and the sound was the best I've ever heard in a big space. But I must say, Tom Yorke has some peculiar dance moves.

Posted by Anonymous | June 2, 2012 6:01 AM

What a great live performance. It was one of the best of live performance for me and it was so memorable.

Posted by sam | June 2, 2012 6:41 AM

Truly one of the greatest live performance ever. Thumbs up to them.

Posted by Northwest Concert & Events Blog | June 2, 2012 6:43 AM

Really amazing performance

Posted by Apartmani Becici | June 2, 2012 7:04 AM

12:16, um.. They probably played The One I Love BECAUSE Michael Stipe was there...

Posted by Anonymous | June 2, 2012 7:13 AM

1:36, agreed. It would be great to hear Just.

Posted by Anonymous | June 2, 2012 7:18 AM

I would actually not mind hearing High and Dry once. They haven't done that song since 1998.

Posted by Anonymous | June 2, 2012 7:24 AM

I wish they would vary their setlists more. They have so much material at this point that they can choose from, but I get that they're trying to push that crappy TKOL.

Posted by Anonymous | June 2, 2012 7:40 AM

I went both nights and had zero issues with the set lists. If you're seriously complaining about that then maybe next time you should just stay home, chug NyQuil and watch YouTube videos.

Posted by Anonymous | June 2, 2012 8:14 AM

Did they play Buddy Holly or Hash Pipe?

Posted by Anonymous | June 2, 2012 8:48 AM

Snoozefest. Same chorus-less song repeated all night, except for Paranoid Android, which was the single highlight.

Posted by Anonymous | June 2, 2012 9:27 AM

what time does Daft Punk go on?

Posted by Anonymous | June 2, 2012 9:27 AM

I can not believe they screwed up Paranoid android and Idioteque. Bush league if i have ever seen it. Those are two of the most popular radiohead songs. and what was with Thom Yorke storming off the stage after Idioteque?? What was the matter with that guy? You are the lead singer of the most critically acclaimed band in the world. Try to act more professional and practice your songs before a tour starts. If Identikit and staircase were screwed up, I wouldnt have an issue, but Paranoid android and idioteque??? come on, man

I went both nights and Thursday was better. All the repeats on Friday sort of ruined it for me. Pyramid song and How to disappear were the highlights for me. I loved both of those songs. I didnt care for Kid A and go to sleep. I was hoping for street spirit and lucky but didnt get it.

Posted by Anonymous | June 2, 2012 9:48 AM

you didn't get it, :-(

Posted by George in NJ | June 2, 2012 9:56 AM

Johan's No No > Radiohead x10

Posted by Anonymous | June 2, 2012 10:18 AM

go away

Posted by Anonymous | June 2, 2012 10:23 AM

8:14, good suggestion. That would have been more fun.

Posted by Anonymous | June 2, 2012 10:24 AM

thom yorke will be at mister saturday night tonight for caribou's set

Posted by Anonymous | June 2, 2012 10:27 AM

Agreed, 10:18. One exciting, the other sleep inducing. Thom York can dance his convulsions into a lake.

Posted by David Cone | June 2, 2012 10:55 AM

No Karma Police = Refund Please

Posted by Anonymous | June 2, 2012 10:56 AM

went both nights. seemed like Yorke had more energy the 1st night.

Posted by Anonymous | June 2, 2012 10:57 AM

^ Agreed. First night was the bomb.

Posted by Anonymous | June 2, 2012 11:04 AM

9:48 I feel you. Their entry timing for the last measure of Magpie was off as well. Did anyone else sense some serious tension between Thom and Jonny? Seems like Thom is a hangover headcase busy soaking attention while Jonny is there just to do his "job." No real chemisty. Even when they were alone for Go to Sleep, Jonny got close to Thom just to keep time with his vocal loops. And does Clive have to play so much full kit?? When he laid off and let the songs breathe a little the presence of space was a relief, not to mention he and Phil slipped out of eachothers pocket numerous times.

Posted by Anonymous | June 2, 2012 11:04 AM

I'm surprised Klaus Kinksy didn't take a picture of himself. But at least he got free tickets.

Posted by Anonymous | June 2, 2012 11:11 AM

Love radiohead, but why do they keep playing Myxomatosis? It's seriously one if their worst songs, and there's so many better contenders from HTTT to choose from. There there, 2+2, where I end and you begin....

Anyway, what exactly went wrong in idioteque?

Posted by Anonymous | June 2, 2012 11:16 AM

There, There is the best Radiohead song IMHO

Posted by Anonymous | June 2, 2012 11:19 AM

Weird Fishes is their best song. In Rainbows kills.

Posted by Anonymous | June 2, 2012 11:21 AM

I had a great time at the show, but I still don't love the King of Limbs album. Even if those songs are better live, "Morning Mr. Magpie" & "Feral" are BORING.

@7:13am - They've done the "The One I Love" intro a bunch of times before, regardless as to whether or not Michael Stipe was in the house.

Posted by Matt | June 2, 2012 11:21 AM

By far the weakest of the all the RH shows I've been to over the last decade. The setlist felt disjointed and no real energy seemed to build throughout the night. The only songs they played with any enthusiasm were lotus flower and feral.

Not to mention there were WAY too many mistakes. There were at least 3 major blunders plus many timing issues. Felt like they were just going through the motions.

Posted by Anonymous | June 2, 2012 11:21 AM

Last night was awesome, but I wish they had played There, There and Karma Police instead of Pyramid Song or the new crap.

Posted by Anonymous | June 2, 2012 11:38 AM

Pyramid Song > Beer run

Posted by Anonymous | June 2, 2012 11:39 AM

Seems like there is no consensus at all here.

Posted by Anonymous | June 2, 2012 11:43 AM

@1116 it's b/c myxo is awesome live. they've actually played it all 3 times i've seen them (all on different tours).

Posted by Anonymous | June 2, 2012 11:48 AM

They should really play more from Pablo Honey. It is their best.

Posted by Anonymous | June 2, 2012 11:54 AM

You read it here first: Radiohead / Barclays Center Arena / Brooklyn / Dec. 7 / Dec. 8, 2012

It's on the "seating chart" view of the Barclays site.

Posted by Anonymous | June 2, 2012 12:06 PM

^ I hope they play Karma Police. It should be mandatory every show.

Posted by Anonymous | June 2, 2012 12:14 PM

I went last night. I'd rather spend my money on The Hold Steady.

Posted by Anonymous | June 2, 2012 12:17 PM

Thom's stopping Idioteque deserves to be mentioned. It was unprofessional and disappointing. Paranoid Android fumble was more forgivable, but still, those are two songs that you do not want to fuck up. But great show nonetheless.

Posted by Anonymous | June 2, 2012 12:21 PM

I saw them 5/29 in Mansfield, MA and that show was flawless! Timing was spot on and the acoustics were insane. Last night wasn't too bad though. How to Disappear Completely was amazing. At one point Thom said he was "sick as a dog" I think that was the only reason it was a bit disjointed. I hope they come back soon, and not in another 4 years.

Posted by Anonymous | June 2, 2012 12:21 PM

Last night was great. Both the songs and crowd.

Posted by Craigslist Dallas | June 2, 2012 12:22 PM

Can these twats just go away now? I'd rather read contorted phrases about Jeremy Lin than all of these lukewarm reviews and uninformed opinions.

Posted by Anonymous | June 2, 2012 12:24 PM

Also my name is Gerald, I hold up cameras in everyone's sight lines, have a bitchy Asian girlfriend and talk through a lot of quiet songs because my comments are witty and no one can live without them. I live in my mom's basement and like to kick D.'s ass for not being hardcore enough every day. I subsist on White Castle and Haterade.

Posted by Anonymous | June 2, 2012 12:24 PM

The worst part of last night's show was that it was in New Jersey. I wanted to beat down the fucking dickheads that yelled "Let's Go Devils"

Posted by Anonymous | June 2, 2012 12:27 PM

Gerald = Lin.sanity dude

Posted by Anonymous | June 2, 2012 12:29 PM

I was at both shows and Friday as much, much better than Thursday. Band seemed to have more energy, be in a better mood. Setlist was worlds better.

Posted by Anonymous | June 2, 2012 12:29 PM

Should have walked out and gone to the Mets game instead.

Posted by Anonymous | June 2, 2012 12:30 PM

Santana tosses first no-hitter in Mets' history
By MIKE FITZPATRICK | The Associated Press

NEW YORK (AP) Johan Santana was past 130 pitches and fans at Citi Field were high-fiving with every out, hoping this was finally the night the New York Mets had waited for.

All those famous arms - Nolan Ryan, Tom Seaver, Dwight Gooden, Pedro Martinez, Tom Glavine - and not a single no-hitter in more than 50 years of baseball.

Not until Santana finished the job Friday night.

Posted by Anonymous | June 2, 2012 12:30 PM

@12:21: Radiohead played here less than a year ago.

Posted by Anonymous | June 2, 2012 12:31 PM

10:44 needs to live a life, experience a concert, not tape it, and stop ripping off the band trying to make money with a monetized account using videos he obviously does not have rights to.

Posted by Anonymous | June 2, 2012 12:32 PM

"At one point Thom said he was "sick as a dog" "

Yeah, oxycontin will do that to you

Posted by Anonymous | June 2, 2012 12:35 PM

Did they play Hey Jealousy?

Posted by Anonymous | June 2, 2012 12:36 PM

Did they play Flagpole Sitta?

Posted by Anonymous | June 2, 2012 12:37 PM

Did they play Creep?

Posted by Anonymous | June 2, 2012 12:39 PM

"I'm surprised Klaus Kinksy didn't take a picture of himself. But at least he got free tickets."

Wrong. I paid for a ticket. A single ticket.

Setting the record straight,
K_K

Posted by Klaus | June 2, 2012 12:39 PM

Posted by Anonymous | June 2, 2012 12:39 PM

Did they pitch a no-hitter last night? Yeah, I thought not.

Posted by Anonymous | June 2, 2012 12:40 PM

Did they play Semi-Charmed Life?

Posted by Anonymous | June 2, 2012 12:41 PM

Radiohead really can't do any wrong for you fanboys

Very nice - I always kind of suspected that Radiohead fans were bigots, but now I know for sure.

@11:19am -

Agreed. "There, There" is my favorite from them (at least from the last 10yrs) and was really hoping for it Fri night. Went to Roseland 2 and Newark 2; both times they played it night one instead. Getting hosed on my setlists!

@1:16 Who gives a fuck? Really, who? I want names, you useless fuck. You need to roller skate on down to where ever you hang out and get me a list. Take a pencil and a piece of paper with you, so you can have something to write on. Don't leave anyone out. This is fucking important, goddamnit! When you're through email it to me at this address:

The whole "messing up" Idioteque I'm pretty sure is a joke with the eventual punchline being, we aren't performing that song anymore on this tour, Jonny forgot how to play it. It was weird cause the rhythm kind of shifted around although being the infectious party rocker that that song is some of the fans near the front of the stage, around and including me, were still compelled to try to sing, clap and dance to it. Which speaks to the greater point of them messing up any of their songs. It seems that they are attempting to draw out some kind of contentiousness between them and their louder fans. I'm not sure if it's playful or mean-spirited but it was certainly there. Particularly if you consider the lyrics of Morning Mr Magpie, when they decided to not sing them and what was going on with the singing in the crowd. During "Paranoid Android" Thom Yorke dropped his vocals during the "you don't remember, you don't remember, why don't you remember..." part and the crowd sing-along didn't remember or care to continue to sing the ones that followed. They even prefixed this song with Thom saying something about James Dean, a "Rebel Without a Cause" reference? Personally as a city dweller and as a fan with an emotional connection to alot of these songs there is certainly a level of catharsis to letting loose and singing/breathing along. I can also see how it can be annoying to others, particularly when people don't seem to actually know the words or where they fit in the instrumentation. The lack of talent as far as the crowd members vocal ranges and whatnot isn't really as much of a thing to me as long as the people are into the music. For me as a spectator the random shouting and just plain old chattering during the set I'd say is more the thing that borders on being rude. Although, I've read things in interviews over the past in response to these issues I'd be interested in hearing what the band had to say about them in 2012. I wonder if they want to be able to to take some of their songs in a more jam band or jazz direction live and feel stifled by the crowd participation. Perhaps they prefer complete silence during their performances or maybe they are perturbed by the half-hearted nature of people's singing along.

Posted by brandon | June 2, 2012 1:48 PM

Sure I know you. You are Billy Rogers, and you need to just calm down now.

Posted by Anonymous | June 2, 2012 1:49 PM

Brandon, you have given a mistake far too much mental energy. They fucked up. Everyone fucks up, when they are bloated, complacent, and half asleep in a bourgeois stupor.

You should turn your attention to acts that are still hungry. Acts that give a fuck about what they are doing. Acts that are attentive.

When Lil B released his fifth album, titled I'm Gay, he received several death threats. Although he is heterosexual, he says the title is a message of support to the LGBT community. Referring to the original definition of gay, he says he is gay because he is happy.

Posted by Anonymous | June 2, 2012 2:05 PM

@1:15 Trust me I listen to more than just Radiohead, I'm all in the buzzosphere as Carles would say. ;) There is no way Thom forgot that the line, "you don't remember" came after the line "you don't remember" watch the clip on youtube and see for yourself, http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9CHvTTpqvPw the lone comment helped prompt me into writing this but I was certainly thinking about this stuff while watching and participating or not participating in the show last night.

Posted by brandon | June 2, 2012 2:06 PM

Well, I don't know who "@1:15" is but I can attest to the fact that Radiohead are a bloated, self-satisfied group that are tracking almost move-for-move with REM when they grew too important for themselves.

Posted by Anonymous | June 2, 2012 2:09 PM

i enjoyed myself last night. coachella weekend 2 was definitely the worst RH show i have seen but this one was somewhere in the middle

the fans just need to come to the realization that they're not going to come out and rock the bends every night. it is what it is. appreciate the shows you saw 10+ years ago and don't take for granted that one of the most talented bands of our generation is still touring and making music. you might just get that sweet bust-out one night

Posted by bobby the rookie | June 2, 2012 2:16 PM

"one of the most talented bands of our generation is still touring and making music"

yes, one of the most talented - past tense. generation measured as last 10 years. and yes they are still touring and making music - not as good music, but yes still at it. and I will give them that, what you said. but no, they are no longer the vanguard, and no the music they are making now (both studio and live) is not what our generation should be measured against.

Posted by Anonymous | June 2, 2012 2:27 PM

Yeah, I noticed transposed those numbers @Anonymous 1:51 and 2:09. I'm not really here to make a judgement call, it's just what I was thinking about.

Posted by brandon | June 2, 2012 2:30 PM

Ha! totally missed that 2:30. By the way, I am 2:09 but not 1:51.

Posted by I am 2:09 | June 2, 2012 2:37 PM

I want a hand job. Any offers out there?

Posted by Anonymous | June 2, 2012 2:44 PM

@2:06:

Thom said "you don't remember" early, and skipped the "Aaambition makes you look pretty ugly" part. A bunch of the singalong types didn't notice and screamed the line back at him, making recovery pretty much impossible.

This sort of thing happens all the time at Les Savy Fav shows.

Posted by Anonymous | June 2, 2012 2:45 PM

@2:45 Nope. Your wrong. Watch the video again. You'll see what I'm talking about.

Posted by Anonymous | June 2, 2012 2:51 PM

The show last night was awesome. Not nearly perfect but they are human beings and the amount of work that goes into what they do is far more than any of the whiny hipster douchebags on here who think that they could do better or have any leg to stand on when they complain about anything from the show last night. He was sick back the fuck off. I don't think you have played an areas with the flu. And for the guy who tried to make a connection to OxyContin go choke yourself. The king of limbs is an amazing album and just because you don't like it doesn't mean your insipid pea brained opinion is able to be generalized to anyone else. To the person who asked why they didn't play creep...were you dropped on your head as a child? Seems like it.

Posted by Bobby | June 2, 2012 3:10 PM

Posted by J | June 2, 2012 3:14 PM

I took the stupid PATH train all that way and they didn't play "Creep." it's their only Top 40 hit. This band is a bunch of idiots!

Posted by Anonymous | June 2, 2012 3:28 PM

Seems like Thom would hate his audience no
matter what they do or don't do.

Posted by Anonymous | June 2, 2012 3:40 PM

Ah, he didn't say anything about James Dean, this explains it even further, taken pretty soon after Jonny's solo http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yzCK3cMSJnI

Posted by brandon | June 2, 2012 4:06 PM

Posted by Anonymous | June 2, 2012 4:17 PM

the people making "Creep" comments are obviously joking. way to take the bait moron.

Posted by Anonymous | June 2, 2012 4:23 PM

@11:04 - were you at this show?? Jonny and Thom are only on the stage for Give Up The Ghost, not Go To Sleep

Posted by Anonymous | June 2, 2012 4:32 PM

Barclays Center tickets are already on Stubhub.

Posted by Anonymous | June 2, 2012 4:42 PM

I went to both nights. I was most disappointed at how similar the setlists were. I saw pearl jam on consecutive nights last year, and they really mixed it up. It shows respect for their fans who come on both nights.

This was my first Radiohead concet, and the show was obviously awesome, and I would go again tonight if there was a third show. However, it was not quite mind blowing as I was hoping for. I guess Radiohead are a band to see at an outdoor festival.

Posted by Alon | June 2, 2012 4:51 PM

It was generally a disappointing show for me. Admittedly, I do love the older RH stuff and would have appreciated at least a few more of those tunes, but I came prepared not expecting to hear much of anything from the first three records. What annoyed me (besides the two idiots sitting behind me and chattering non-stop throughout the show) was that when he did actual play something from OK Computer he seemed to be annoyed about having to play it and half-assed the vocals. He seems to really resent having to play any of the songs that made them famous.

The sounds wasn't great from where I was sitting either. Too much of a busy mix with all of the percussion going on and the vocals were muddy and too low. A lot of the new songs to me lack dynamics and turn into a general drone lacking in melody.

Don't know if I'll ever fork out the cash to see that band again.

Posted by Anonymous | June 2, 2012 5:23 PM

2:51 I watched the video again.... and saw exactly what I said.

Just do me a favor and send me the timecode for when he does say "kicking screaming gucci little piggies" and then I'll ...

oh wait no now i'm in an argument on a message board. fml.

Posted by Anonymous | June 2, 2012 5:36 PM

they actually used to change up their setlists a lot, you never knew what you were gonna get. it was fun to go both nights of a run. this tour is very perdictable unfortunately. i wouldnt say they're better at festivals..coachella for example was very weak. but superfly will give them close to 3 hours of playing time at bonnaroo, expect close to 30 songs in their set next friday. though they could fill that time with more new tunes

Posted by Anonymous | June 2, 2012 6:34 PM

@5:36 I'm not 2:51 if you thought I was, seems like that was some other anonymous person inserting themselves into the conversation as flame bait. But yeah, you are right he did miss those lines and it could of just have been a mistake, but I don't know, if you were at the front there was a strange vibe, contentious is the best word I can come up with for it. I posted at 4:06 a link to this video where he is mocking a guy that is chanting out "Annie"? or some other name after people finish chanting "Jonny" following his solo at the end of the previous song. I thought he was saying James Dean from where I was standing but he starts just saying names, "Steve, James, Steve, Jeffrey" it's pretty funny you can hear it here, http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yzCK3cMSJnI After he says "You don't remember" he just pauses full stop to see if anyone was singing the right lyrics, as if it was bait. It's such a literal way to get at the fans that are singing parts of the songs wrong. He then nods when there is a pick up of "gucci little piggy" part from the crowd but that is also a jumbled mess anyway because of the previous confusion that's still going on. There definitely was no spiritual moment where the whole arena is singing this song in unison. That further goes into the point I was trying to express though. I mean seriously, is singing "ambition makes you look pretty ugly" or "off with his head, man" in unison something to aspire to. It's weird, I've been to shows where it is completely dead and the people on stage are practically begging for crowd participation but it sorta felt like it was the opposite for moments of this show. The crowd had alot of woooooing, hollering and chattering when there wasn't crowd singalong stuff going on but alot of the crowd singalong stuff seemed to be half-hearted and not well versed anyway.

Posted by brandon | June 2, 2012 7:08 PM

You have to realize that a band that's been around for this long has played literally thousands of shows in their life. Do you really expect it to be 100% every time? Everyone has off nights, everyone gets sick or in a bad mood, etc. Yeah, I'd probably be pissed too if I spent a lot of money and got a sub-par performance, but they're only human and frankly if 990/1000 shows are great, thats a pretty good fucking average. An off night doesnt necessarily mean their career is suddenly dead. It just means Thom was hungover and they could probably benefit from a break or hiatus or something.

Plus, New Yorkers are pretty much assholes. :)

Posted by Anonymous | June 3, 2012 9:56 AM

I'll give credit to Radiohead fans for being loyal. But all you have to do is watch videos of them live from 10 years ago to see a more vibrant performance with better setlists.

Posted by Anonymous | June 3, 2012 11:06 AM

Are you all 12 years old? My god.

Posted by Anonymous | June 3, 2012 12:50 PM

The One I Love -> Everything In It's Right Place will be my favorite concert memory of all time

Posted by Anonymous | June 3, 2012 2:28 PM

2nd night way better than first. they whole arena stood the entire concert. night one every was sitting watching a movie.

Posted by Anonymous | June 3, 2012 2:34 PM

You choosing to see two radiohead shows in a row and complaining about it. Now you know you are the lamest person on Earth.

Posted by Anonymous | June 3, 2012 3:38 PM

No, not everyone stood the entire concert. Most people were sitting, actually. And when it did happen, it was incredibly obnoxious to have one or two douchebags standing up blocking the view for everyone behind them.

Posted by Anonymous | June 3, 2012 4:04 PM

Radiohead sucks. Pablo Honey was the only good album. They make boring crappy music now.

Posted by Anonymous | June 3, 2012 4:55 PM

"WTF, again no Creep. Do they have something against their fans?" anon 3:19am

they don't (and shouldn't) cater to 'fans' stuck in the past.

Posted by Anonymous | June 3, 2012 5:09 PM

Reading all these comments and those from the previous night, all I can say is how glad I am to have gotten to see Afghan Whigs a couple weeks before.

Posted by Anonymous | June 3, 2012 5:10 PM

Creep should be played every night

Posted by Anonymous | June 3, 2012 5:56 PM

"Creep" was a cloying, calculated, desperate attempt at having a big song that MTV would play too much...

Posted by Joss Whedon | June 3, 2012 6:11 PM

^

also...still their best/well known song. Must kill the fuckers on the inside.

Posted by Anonymous | June 3, 2012 6:42 PM

Went to both nights; thought the first night was better. I think Tom's illness probably explains the lower energy level Friday. But Radiohead on an off night is still better than most other bands around. The new songs sound great. The Daily Mail was just tremendous on both nights (Thursday was the first time I'd even heard this song, and it blew me away), and Supercollider wasn't far behind.

Posted by Anonymous | June 3, 2012 8:01 PM

Creep is their best song.

Posted by Anonymous | June 3, 2012 9:07 PM

Pablo Honey was not a good album, but Creep is a well-written pop song.
That being said, I dont feel the need to see them perform it live. However, it would be nice to hear more stuff from The Bends or OK Computer. They had good pop sensibilities; its too bad they don't write pop songs any more.

Posted by Anonymous | June 3, 2012 10:28 PM

some people are really stupid!

Posted by Anonymous | June 4, 2012 4:21 AM

I like Pablo Honey better than Amnesiac and Kid A..there I said it!

Posted by Anonymous | June 4, 2012 7:15 AM

Radiohead fanboys will think that Thom taking a shit in their mouth is an epic event. Even Thom's drug-addiction-induced "illness" is played off as "we all get sick".

Fanboys are really pathetic people.

I ate a burrito for lunch and I feel bloated! Can I join Radiohead?

Posted by Anonymous | June 4, 2012 11:15 AM

11:13 guy ask a serious question and you chew him out. People who are defensive and don't answer the question to me lack any intelligence. It proves you don't know the answer and are showing your ignorance by trying to deflect your stupidity.

Posted by Anonymous | June 4, 2012 11:20 AM

What is the most bloated song under 2 minutes? Go!

Posted by Anonymous | June 4, 2012 11:23 AM

Transiberrian Orchestra and Yanni are bloated Radiohead is not. Next

Posted by Anonymous | June 4, 2012 11:23 AM

11:20 wins the internets! Best comment of the year!

Posted by Anonymous | June 4, 2012 11:24 AM

6 comments in 10 minutes = you are trying to hard, son. Nice try on the "I judge you" card, but like the rest it is a desperate fail.

Posted by Anonymous | June 4, 2012 11:34 AM

@11:20
That is called "trying to draw an internet foul". Problem is that there are no refs here, and no one cares that you got butt hurt. Back to your bridge, dainty troll.

Posted by Anonymous | June 4, 2012 11:36 AM

11:34 feeling burnt? It is ok..you will survive. Still waiting for your insight on why Radiohead is bloated...that is what I thought you don't know.

Posted by Anonymous | June 4, 2012 11:39 AM

^I've got nothing to prove to a angry internet troll. Go pick a fight with your baby sister.

Posted by Anonymous | June 4, 2012 11:40 AM

^yes you do you keep responding and you don't know what bloated means...and nice try I have an older brother ;) lulz

Posted by Anonymous | June 4, 2012 11:42 AM

I'll say it again - bloated and self-important. Any I'll also say again - Thom Yorke could take a shit right into the gaping expectant baby bird mouths of the fanboys and they would think it was the best thing that ever happened to them. That is if Thom could actually move his bowels, you know how junk stops up your shit and all.

Posted by Anonymous | June 4, 2012 11:43 AM

last song by Radiohead 11:40 heard...Creep in 1993.

Posted by Anonymous | June 4, 2012 11:43 AM

11:43 (1) point has just been proved..thank you

Posted by Anonymous | June 4, 2012 11:44 AM

11:43 I love Radiohead but don't like Amnesiac, Most of Kid A and In Rainbows..I am a paradox of a fanboy.

Posted by Anonymous | June 4, 2012 11:46 AM

Did they play Flavor of the Week?

Posted by Anonymous | June 4, 2012 11:52 AM

Radiohead fanboy (too many entries to list), this here is for you:

Egocentrism is when one is over preoccupied with their own internal world. Egocentrics regard oneself and one's own opinions or interests as most important or valid. Self-relevant information is seen to be more important in shaping one’s judgements than do thoughts about others and other-relevant information (Windschitl, Rose, Stalkfleet & Smith, 2008). It also generates the inability to fully understand or to cope with other people's opinions and the fact that reality can be different from what they are ready to accept despite any change in their personal belief.

Posted by Anonymous | June 4, 2012 11:55 AM

So what do you call a fan of the band who doesn't like all their albums...your minds blown isn't it?

Posted by Anonymous | June 4, 2012 11:57 AM

Pablo Honey is really good, but everything after that sounds exactly the same

Posted by Venkman | June 4, 2012 11:57 AM

11:57 +1

Posted by Anonymous | June 4, 2012 12:45 PM

Magpie just isn't good enough to play live, or release. Feral isn't much better.

it's almost like they fuck up Idioteque and Paranoid Android because they're disheartened at trying so hard to sell new material, and they're disconcerted when it doesn't work.

Posted by Anonymous | June 4, 2012 1:01 PM

KoL is the 2nd disc of a Deluxe Edition, the primary album of which was never made. At best, these songs are outtake quality.

Posted by Anonymous | June 4, 2012 1:05 PM

^Most of Radiohead B-side outtakes are better then their albums- Example Airbag EP

Posted by Anonymous | June 4, 2012 1:21 PM

Airbag EP > How Am I Driving EP > KoL

Posted by Anonymous | June 4, 2012 1:28 PM

(let's see who gets it)

Posted by Anonymous | June 4, 2012 1:29 PM

you could take 45 minutes worth of towering above the rest, and probably make a pretty decent radiohead album. worrywort and fog are two of my favorite songs of theirs.

Posted by Anonymous | June 4, 2012 1:30 PM

Polyethylene FTW!

Posted by Anonymous | June 4, 2012 1:33 PM

1:29 Airbag Ep was titled Airbag:How am I driving?

Posted by Anonymous | June 4, 2012 1:34 PM

1:28 BTW I agree Airbag is better than Kings of Leon!

Posted by Anonymous | June 4, 2012 1:39 PM

There are very few constants in the world these days, but 1:39 illustrates one of them - hipster humor is neither funny nor insightful. Generally speaking, hipster humor can be imagined as something that you might hear Mary Gross say on her NPR show (which is no doubt where hipsters get their material from).

And yes, for most of us who live here and work for a living, the term "hipster" is ironic and an insult. As it should be.

Posted by Anonymous | June 4, 2012 2:11 PM

^Same thing goes for a tool. 2:11 illistrates that!

Posted by Anonymous | June 4, 2012 2:59 PM

2:11 rather have hummus jokes, huh? 1:39 joke was cheesey but at least more creative than hummus this, ytnasnil or whatever

Posted by Anonymous | June 4, 2012 3:05 PM

^Jokes require humor. Your "joke" lacks the fundamental aspect of what separates a joke from am inane collection of letters. Sorry that your parents never taught you about how the world really works (e.g. that everyone doesn't get trophies for just playing, that there are actually "winners" and "losers", that you can't just ignore it when someone says something that you don't want to hear).

Please refer to the post @11:55

Posted by Anonymous | June 4, 2012 3:28 PM

2:59 you make no sense whatsoever. Perhaps take a "cock holiday" tonight and try to think like a rational person tomorrow for better results?

Posted by Anonymous | June 4, 2012 3:30 PM

3:28 and 3:30 are tools! Easy enough to understand?

^Butt hurt? What are you 2 years old...mommy let you out of the crib! HA HA 6:43 is a toddler! Cry on your mama's sholder...please see your mama!

Posted by Anonymous | June 4, 2012 7:12 PM

^ try again hipster. YOU FAIL, COCK DRUNK DOUCHE. What are you, a faggot?

Posted by Anonymous | June 4, 2012 8:58 PM

^LOL well can't say that I disagree with the sentiment but this was not me. What I would add to this guy's rather artful description is that the serial hipster (last post 7:12) tells unfunny jokes, has a retort strategy of basically "I know you are but what am I", and finally comes to the rubber/road moment - clear proof that the 11:55 post was accurate. It is clear that this hipster defends Radiohead (remember Radiohead, hipster? this is a thread about Radiohead) simply because he, like Radiohead, is bloated and self-important. Yes, this hipster has been so mislead by those charged with raising him that he has become little more than a glorified toddler himself, unable to process opinions and observations that do not align to his own limited wordview. In other words, back to post 11:55 and the clear description of this hapless twat's miserable, repulsive life.

Sucks to be you, Skippy. Sucks to be you.

Posted by Anonymous | June 4, 2012 9:17 PM

First

Posted by Anonymous | June 5, 2012 3:53 AM

9:17 your retort is also I know you are but what am I" this proves he doesn't have one clear train of thought. Also proves he doesn't answer the original Radiohead question on why they are bloated because he himself throws around big bloated words that he himself doesn't know. Thus making him a glorified toddler. Also doesn't answer the other Radiohead fanboy question of what do you call a Radiohead fanboy who doesn't like Kid A, In Rainbows etc. Oh I forgot this toddler has A.D.D. and can't comprehend more than a half a thought at a time. Keep living in your deluded world. Sucks to be you, Sparky!

Posted by Anonymous | June 5, 2012 7:28 AM

Best part is 6:43 refrences post 11:55 like that is the be all end all. Yes refrence back to your post. So smart I will believe you. What are you a TuNeYards fanboy! Enjoy your glitter and facepaint.
