Radiohead at Susquehanna Bank Center - 6/13/12
Radiohead

Radiohead have been on a tour which already brought them to NJ for two Prudential Center shows and returned to Jersey last night (6/13) for a show at Susquehanna Bank Center. The set included two OK Computer songs ("Lucky" and "Paranoid Android") and two Amnesiac songs ("I Might Be Wrong" and "Like Spinning Plates") and was otherwise pretty similar to the Prudential Center shows, leaning most heavily on the two most recent albums, Kid A, and some new ones (they didn't play the new song that they just debuted in Chicago though). The set ended with "Everything In Its Right Place" with "True Love Waits" intro.

More pictures, a video, and setlist from last night's show are below.

Really fun show last night but I have to say the setlists were so much better before the last 2 albums were released. Nothing from The Bends last night?? Come on!

Posted by Anonymous | June 14, 2012 11:18 AM

amphitheaters now? weird.

Posted by Anonymous | June 14, 2012 11:24 AM

was frohawk there?

Posted by Anonymous | June 14, 2012 11:25 AM

I saw the 2nd Prudential show and I have to say... last night wasn't as good. Might be my first Radiohead show that I felt they sounded subpar.

Posted by Anonymous | June 14, 2012 11:28 AM

was this show not sold out?? I see lots of empty seats, or was it just during the opener?

Posted by Anonymous | June 14, 2012 11:33 AM

Did Dick Manitoba show up and beat the living shit out of Caribou?

Posted by Anonymous | June 14, 2012 11:34 AM

standing drums played by non-drummers...yet another move from the indieband playbook that Radiohead just made mainstream. fuck, what do we have left?

Posted by the jim | June 14, 2012 11:37 AM

Empty during Caribou, filled up for Radiohead. All seats were sold out and lawn was packed.

RH need to wear ironic tshirts, grow look at me facial hair & rename their band something totally insider or ridiculous & they'll complete the cycle you're hoping for.

Posted by Anonymous | June 14, 2012 11:50 AM

did they screw up Idioteque again?

Posted by Anonymous | June 14, 2012 11:58 AM

Identikit was also played idiots

Posted by Anonymous | June 14, 2012 12:10 PM

The best setlist of the tour so far was night 2 Newark. Glad I was there

Posted by Anonymous | June 14, 2012 12:11 PM

I was at both Newarks and thought last night was the best of the three. Radiohead is much better in an ampitheatre than an arena or festival, imo.

Posted by Anonymous | June 14, 2012 12:20 PM

Show was incredible last night. They did not make mistakes on Idioteque like Newark. I enjoyed Camden much more than Newark Friday night. Perhaps because I had a better seat. However, I think the set list was much better last night (Lucky & Spinning Plates back to back and I Might Be Wrong were the highlights).

Posted by Anonymous | June 14, 2012 12:27 PM

Wait, is this comment section serious? They've been doing the extra drums in There There since 2003 and they've been playing amphitheaters for awhile, too...

Posted by Anonymous | June 14, 2012 12:38 PM

I've never seen Radiohead before, but if they've played better than they did last night, those who saw them were blessed.

Posted by Anonymous | June 14, 2012 12:54 PM

To Anon 12:38:

Have you ever seen a BV comments section before?

ALL BULLSHIT ALL THE TIME

(except that Radiohead @ Barclays Center 12/7-8 rumor. that's totally true.)

Posted by Anonymous | June 14, 2012 1:14 PM

1:14pm lol

Prove that Brooklyn show is true.

Posted by Anonymous | June 14, 2012 1:22 PM

@12:38 - pls explain

Posted by Anonymous | June 14, 2012 1:29 PM

Hey 12:38, don't pay attention to these people. There are two moderators on Brooklyn Vegan. Their names are "D" and "YTIN.ANSIL" - if you think people are posting things that are rude and/or false, address a post to either of them and they will take care of it.

Posted by Anonymous | June 14, 2012 1:33 PM

Radiohead is great but I would prefer to see the iPods -- a band with real diversity from track to track!

Posted by Anonymous | June 14, 2012 1:48 PM

caribou played for 30 min. total bullshit. I missed then. apparently so did 2/3rds of the crowd. why do they start the opening bands at these coliseums at the "doors" time.

Posted by Anonymous | June 14, 2012 1:50 PM

LOL at 1:48 but I don't understand the connection b/t Jeremy Lin and this site -- new to the site, please explain?

Posted by Anonymous | June 14, 2012 1:51 PM

They played Idioteque? Hard to imagine that one live . . .

Posted by Anonymous | June 14, 2012 1:55 PM

to 1:22

What - you don't believe an Anonymous BV post?

Won't you look the fool when the tickets go one sale.

Posted by Anonymous | June 14, 2012 2:01 PM

Agreed 1:55 -- been waiting to hear that one live for a bit! Glad to see they are trying it out.

Posted by Anonymous | June 14, 2012 2:01 PM

So they're still not playing Creep? Jesus Corgan was right these guys are full of pomposity.

Radiohead: Now with more bad albums than good #Fact

Posted by Jay Porks | June 14, 2012 2:52 PM

^yeah so which albums are the bad ones go?

I got one lukewarm one in my tally..

Posted by Anonymous | June 14, 2012 3:04 PM

"Radiohead: Now with more bad albums than good #Fact"

This isn't the Simpsons where there are now more bad seasons than good. Radiohead's good albums far outweigh the bad. Mainly because there are no bad ones.

Posted by Anonymous | June 14, 2012 3:19 PM

Barclay's in december right?

Posted by Anonymous | June 14, 2012 3:45 PM

My count:

2 great albums
3 good albums
3 meh albums

None that are actively bad.

Posted by Anonymous | June 14, 2012 3:56 PM

At the end of the show last night Thom said the Camden show was their last in the US for a while. I would think that probably means they aren't planning on playing in Brooklyn in December.

6 months could be considered "awhile"

Posted by Anonymous | June 14, 2012 4:20 PM

That's true. We'll see...

Posted by Anonymous | June 14, 2012 4:28 PM

WORSE THAN U2

Posted by Anonymous | June 14, 2012 4:31 PM

Dear 4:20,
"Awhile" could be considered two words ("a while") if you were literate and understood that your "awhile" is an adverb. You have stated that 6 months could be considered for a {certain} amount of time. How about spending some time learning English instead of wasting your company's time surfing the internet?

Posted by Anonymous | June 14, 2012 4:36 PM

Mr. Papmichael? "Bances with Bolves." Would you like a FUCK!?!?!?!

My name is Jim Morrison, and I am in The iPods. While I do appreciate the free publicity for our diverse song list, my mates and I would ask that you all come out and see us live in the Grand Central Apple Store tomorrow at 1:00. You will be surprised how quickly you will get on your feet when we do "iPod Shuffle"
