OFFICIAL flyers
Revelation Records Anniversary

The previously discussed dates (10/11 - 10/14) for the Revelation Records 25h Anniversary show have been confirmed publicly by the label who has now released a second flyer. The first was the one with the "X" that we posted about 6/17 (which went up on the Revelation site the next day) and now we have this second flyer which clearly points out the state of Texas. Can we look forward to Chain of Strength with Texas is The Reason? Seems alot more likely than Quicksand.

UPDATE: Looks like Into Another is on board, from the looks of the flyer below (that came from the Revelation Records website).

i think into another and possibly sensefield (cant confirm that though) are playing 10/11.

Posted by Anonymous | June 20, 2012 10:31 AM

in what world would civ doing set your goals be great?

Posted by Anonymous | June 20, 2012 10:40 AM

I'm still over at the House of Vans in case the Quicksand show is announced. Still no hummus and 1 bottle of water is running low. It's hot out here.

Posted by Anonymous | June 20, 2012 10:40 AM

10:40 made me laugh. Thanks.

Posted by Anonymous | June 20, 2012 11:27 AM

I am looking forward these shows. However, I hope Texas is the Reason headlines. Then I can leave early.

Posted by Anonymous | June 20, 2012 11:44 AM

set your goals was pop hardcore...kinda like h20.

Posted by Anonymous | June 20, 2012 11:53 AM

IF the Quicksand show is at the House of Vans, can there be special security there to make sure no trendy indie hipster boys (idiots with hummus comments, etc...) get in? Thanks, appreciate it.

Posted by Anonymous | June 20, 2012 11:53 AM

Hopefully, there is going to be a beer/BBQ party for all these sweaty real men afterwards... Hummus optional.

Posted by Anonymous | June 20, 2012 12:03 PM

Ironically Quicksand's to blame for a lot of the indie hipster boys lurking around nowadays.

"in what world would civ doing set your goals be great?"

In a world where Civ is opening up for Days of the New and Fuel.

11:53 I'd like you to be the gatekeeper. It's on you buddy. Figure out who should be allowed in based on cred.

Posted by Anonymous | June 20, 2012 12:42 PM

I C E B U R N !!!

Posted by Anonymous | June 20, 2012 12:42 PM

Either texas is the reason or maybe at the drive in?

Posted by Anonymous | June 20, 2012 12:46 PM

11:27 and 10:40 = same person.

Posted by Anonymous | June 20, 2012 12:54 PM

what about Elliott? could be a good bill with TITR

Posted by Anonymous | June 20, 2012 1:02 PM

at the drive in wasn't on revelation.

Posted by Anonymous | June 20, 2012 1:02 PM

Gameface? Errortype: eleven? Into another? I hope all three.

Posted by Anonymous | June 20, 2012 1:03 PM

12:54...nope, just thought it was funny. That can happen on here occasionally.

Posted by Anonymous | June 20, 2012 1:10 PM

How much will tickets be for these shows?

Posted by Anonymous | June 20, 2012 1:39 PM

1:10: then you have to be from Tucson, or Albuquerque, because it's not.

Posted by Anonymous | June 20, 2012 2:01 PM

ugh. wish rev had never started putting out emo records. this band and this type of shit is embarassing. how do you go from putting out lower east side crew to this shit? fuck you.

Posted by Anonymous | June 20, 2012 2:40 PM

i hope slipknot does some of their old stuff like from their self-titled album or 'iowa'. you posers wouldn't even know that stuff because you only started listening to slipknot in like 2009.

Posted by Anonymous | June 20, 2012 2:59 PM

I hope slipknot exclusively plays stuff from 2009 and later because I don't know any of their older stuff

Posted by Anonymous | June 20, 2012 3:44 PM

1:03 PM "Errortype: eleven"
Are you serious? Do you have ears?

Posted by Anonymous | June 20, 2012 3:51 PM

Wonder who would play bass for Into Another since Bono is dead.

Weird. This stuff is all better left on my iPod to be revisited maybe once a year.

Posted by Anonymous | June 20, 2012 3:52 PM

i hope slipknot plays that song with the guy in the mask.

Posted by Anonymous | June 20, 2012 3:59 PM

3:51 -- HA HA, THAT WAS GOOD!! And, I whole heartedly agree with you. I think that dudes ears got blown off at the Pride Parade.

Posted by Anonymous | June 20, 2012 4:21 PM

Although I love GB and SOIA. I liked when REV had bands like TITR, Farside and Sensefield.

Posted by Anonymous | June 20, 2012 4:25 PM

4:25 IDK, I think it's TMI, PEBKAC, or ID10-T.

Posted by Anonymous | June 20, 2012 4:28 PM

"Wonder who would play bass for Into Another since Bono is dead."

its funny how many people dont realize into another played the LA rev 25

Posted by Anonymous | June 20, 2012 5:03 PM

"Seems alot more likely than Quicksand."

Jesus Christ. A lot more likely. Not alot. This is the type of grammatical error people stop making in middle school at the latest. Fuck the Internet and fuck "journalists".

Posted by Anonymous | June 20, 2012 5:57 PM

@2:40 - I know it's so ridiculous to think that someone's musical tastes would evolve or progress over time! Total pussy shit. Let's punch something. Let's punch our dads!

Posted by Anonymous | June 21, 2012 3:07 AM

Into Another deserves there own post. Seriously, they are better than an update to a Texas is the Reason post.

Posted by Anonymous | June 21, 2012 8:55 AM

Considering SLIPKNOT on Rev came out just short of a decade before Slipknot (the band of today) from Iowa and don't seem to have any members in common it seems they are too different bands and, if they do in fact play and are billed as slipknot, this show may be overrun with a bunch of young metal kids that have no clue what the bands playing are really about.

Posted by JC | June 28, 2012 1:11 PM

more likely for sure.
