Social Distortion at MSG in 2011 (more by Dana (distortion) Yavin)
Social Distortion

Social Distortion are still riding high off of their last LP and first in seven years, 2011's Hard Times & Nursery Rhymes. Mike Ness and crew will take some of those songs and other Social D favorites on the road in August for a European tour, followed by an East Coast jaunt in October which hits NYC at Roseland Ballroom on October 26th with Lindi Ortega and The Biters. Tickets are currently on presale, and the regular on-sale begins Friday, June 8 at 11AM.

Speaking of The Biters, they'll be in NYC much sooner: July 2 at The Studio @ Webster Hall with Wednesday 13, and tickets are on sale.

A listing of all Social D tour dates, and a few classic videos, are below.

They always have the weirdest openers, with the exception of Lucero and Frank Turner.

Mike Ness-total douche.

Posted by Anonymous | June 6, 2012 5:33 PM

Is it me or is Ness looking more and more like a mime in his advancing age?

Posted by Anonymous | June 7, 2012 9:30 AM

Oh, c'mon now .... you guys don't see how formulaic this music is? It is beyond boring, it is beige, lukewarm, flaccid.

I'm just telling the truth. This might have seemed edgy to your 16 year old brain once, but in the light of day it is just downright uninteresting.
