The Cribs

The Cribs' North American tour starts this week and a bit of news that may be a good or bad thing depending on who you are: their NYC show this Wednesday (6/6) with Alex Winston and Devin has been moved from Irving Plaza to Santos Party House. Tickets are still available. If you haven't heard the band's new Steve Albini-"engineered" and Dave Fridmann-produced album, In the Belly of the Brazen Bull, it's probably their best since 2005's The New Fellas. You can stream it at the bottom of this post.

The Cribs just released a video for Brazen Bull track "Glitters Like Gold" and you can watch that below, along with a stream of the whole album and a list of all Cribs tour dates...

thought it was kind of weird that they'd be playing Irving so shortly after playing MHOW.

guess they aren't selling any tickets...santos' capacity is 1/2 of irving's...
