Minneapolis’ Elite Gymnastics make their NYC debut tonight opening for Lemonade and Teengirl Fantasy at Music Hall of Williamsburg. Tickets are still available. The afterparty starts at 11PM, is FREE, and happens right next door to MHoW at Public Assembly with all three performers on the decks. There’s an open well vodka bar for the first half hour.
It’s the Bushwick Open Studios Weekend and today is Live Music Day. Over at Fort Useless there are performances from Luff (2:30pm), Black Salad (3:30pm), Son Of The Granite State (4:30pm), Passenger Peru (5:30pm), The JPK Experience (6:30pm), Hotel Pool (Gold Streets) (7:30pm), Clouder (8:30pm), The Unsacred Hearts (9:30pm), and Miniboone (10:30pm). XPO 292 is also hosting a day-long show as well.
Austin’s seriously awesome OBN III’s are in town, having played Cake Shop last night (6/1), and play Don Pedro tonight. If you like rock n’ roll you’d be dumb to miss ’em.
