"Saturday can take the rest of the day off ..A Place to Bury Strangers levelled the playing field last night at Music Hall of Williamsburg" - Douglas Fraser
APTBS at MHOW - 7/27/12

Brooklyn wall-of-noise makers A Place to Bury Strangers are supporting their new record, Worship (out now via Dead Oceans), on a tour which they brought to Brooklyn for a hometown show this past Friday (7/27) at Music Hall of Williamsburg. Support came from fellow NYC bands Cymbals Eat Guitars and Hunters.
Hunters also play the free opening reception for the BrooklynVegan photo exhibit at 92YTribeca with Screaming Females and Heliotropes on August 16.
More pictures from the show and a video of APTBS' "end of set chaos" (as the youtuber who uploaded it describes it) below...

Fantastic show. Once again they prove to be the best live band in New York.
Hunters were great too.

A place to rile up trendies like 10:13, and exploit their hideous self-loathing. Where? BV, that's where!

This is the type of music that I love. Nice and loud. Lots of anger and passion.
