Bleeding Rainbow at Northside Fest 2012 (more by Amanda Hatfield)
Bleeding Rainbow

Philadelphia's Bleeding Rainbow have signed with Kanine Records who will relelase their new album, Yeah Right, on October 9. (Their appearance on the Kanine Records Northside showcase makes a little more sense now.) You can check out a video teaser for the album at the bottom of this post along with the album's cover art and tracklist.

Eternal Summers, Northside Fest 2012
Eternal Summers

The band will hit the road late summer with their old pals and now labelmates Eternal Summers. While that tour doesn't hit NYC and Bleeding Rainbow don't have any NYC dates of their own, Eternal Summers will be here a few times in the next month. They play Mercury Lounge on July 26 with Ex Cops (who just played the Seaport) and tickets for that show are still available. If you pre-order the vinyl to the band's teriffic new album, Correct Behavior, through Insound you can see Eternal Summers play the day before the Merc show (7/25) at an "intimate location" with free Brooklyn Lager and singed posters from the band. You can download the album's new single, a real corker titled "You Kill," at the top of this post. The whole album is streaming below.

Eternal Summers are also playing the free afternoon Sound Bites series (which I curate) at The Fulton Stall Market on Sunday, August 12. All Eternal Summers dates are listed below.

I like it when you die! Good one! Oh, no oops, it wasn't good at all. Did your mom have sex with her own shit? Did it lead to your birth? Don't lie.

^I admit it, my dad was my mother's own turd. I am the product of incestuous shit-fucking.
I'm really sorry that I posted on here. I don't have anything good to say, but I also don't have anything to do, and I just get so bored sometimes so I like to go on websites and write stupid things. Uggh, I hate myself so much. I really really suck.

Posted by Anonymous | July 19, 2012 10:54 PM

"Smart band ride coat tails when ur not good enough to make ur own path!"
Is that from your own personal experience? Wait, what the fuck does that even mean? I doubt you know; you frankly seem like you're barely literate. You probably aren't evening reading this-- you saw two three syllable words back to back and got frustrated.

If I had to be very honest, I started listening to this band by pure mistake, but I continued because they had very suggestive song titles.
