Kode9's electronic music label Hyperdub has been expanding its palette with notable vocal-driven releases like Darkstar's North and Laurel Halo's Quarantine. The newest release on their roster to embrace a vocal-oriented approach is Cooly G's (aka Merrisa Campbell) Playin' Me LP, which the label put out this week. It's pretty great mix of swooning R&B vocals and UK garage beatwork that should appeal to fans of Jessie Ware, Jamie Woon, or Katy B. You can stream the entire album below.
