OOOH SET TIMES!

Even the first Siren festival, even with one stage, had a better lineup than this "replacement". That said, Archers of Loaf are awesome.

Too bad it's summer (and NY), since there's no chance of "iceberg! right ahead!".

Posted by Anonymous | July 10, 2012 3:27 PM

Extremely underwhelming lineup, except for Archers of course.

Posted by Anonymous | July 10, 2012 3:29 PM

3:27 Should go into exile for that wackass joke - Has to be from the mid-west.

Wow.

Posted by Anonymous | July 10, 2012 3:32 PM

What a shitastic lineup. Including Archers of Loaf.

Posted by Anonymous | July 10, 2012 3:40 PM

It's free, it's a bunch of bands I never heard if, so why not go and check them out?
However, it probably won't have the allure that siren fest had. I used to love puking my pbr on the cyclone. Ahhh sweet memories.

^ Sounds like you're from the Midwest (considering you'd probably be into this nonsense) projecting. Someone please puncture a few holes in this boat before takeoff. Thanks.

What about Tej(?) Leo?

Posted by Anonymous | July 10, 2012 3:46 PM

WHAT TIME DO THE EVERYMEN GO ON???

Posted by Anonymous | July 10, 2012 3:49 PM

3:44 is for 3:32, babycakes.

Posted by Anonymous | July 10, 2012 3:49 PM

What a shitastic lineup. Including Pinchers of Loaf.

Posted by Anonymous | July 10, 2012 4:04 PM

samey samey tunes will be brought to you by Archers of Loaf.

Posted by Anonymous | July 10, 2012 4:11 PM

Got it. I'll be there at 6:30

Posted by Anonymous | July 10, 2012 4:31 PM

South Street Seaport is a mall.

Posted by Anonymous | July 10, 2012 4:34 PM

3:44 you're on this so-called indie site and actually insinuating that a 'free' show with Archers of Loaf is a 'bad' thing?!

Are you seriously the biggest retard in the tri-state area?

Seriously, go back to Tulsa.

Posted by Anonymous | July 10, 2012 4:44 PM

Even coked-out major label A&R reps in the early 90s had the good sense not to sign Archers of Loaf.

Posted by Anonymous | July 10, 2012 4:55 PM

4:44

free shows suck
festivals suck
AOL suck

Gonna have to agree with 3:44

Posted by Anonymous | July 10, 2012 4:58 PM

Reminds me of All Points West, which was basically a Radiohead concert with a bunch of other bands thrown in. This "festival" is no different. AoL and a bunch of other bands thrown in. And because of sound ordinances, Archers will not be able to play at normal volume levels.

Posted by Anonymous | July 10, 2012 5:50 PM

At least APW had some decent acts playing besides Radiohead.

Posted by Anonymous | July 10, 2012 6:10 PM

The Daums?

Posted by Anonymous | July 10, 2012 6:17 PM

Aacheas of Lorf?

Posted by Anonymous | July 10, 2012 6:31 PM

This is free. Hard to complain. You go, you don't like it, you lose nothing. You go, you find out you like one of these bands, and it was free, so you gained something. I guess BV commenters just like to bitch and moan.

Hummus on the loaf

Posted by Anonymous | July 10, 2012 9:04 PM

3:44 PM Likes Delicate Steve and is a little brat trust funder from the Upper West side.

Posted by Anonymous | July 11, 2012 3:44 AM

Pinchers Of The Loaf!

Posted by Anonymous | July 11, 2012 7:44 AM

3:44 AM is right.

Fuck those trust funding bitches that ruin shows by being complete fucking assholes at shows.

Stuck up no-good motherfuckers.

Screw this scene! Bring the festival back to Coney Island where it belongs! The crowds were way bigger, the rides withing easy reach, food galore, shows going until 11 pm, and 10 years disaster-free is a great track record. You won't catch me at this Yupster fest. If I wanted to roast on concrete I would lay out in my cousin's backyard!

Can you email me with some pointers on how you made your site look this awesome, I would appreciate it.
