Friday's surprise guest is going to bring out all the mad men:

Depression haunting me,
I can't break free.
I can't be me.
I don't know what to do because there is no escape
From your grasp and you'll squeeze me until I ooze
From the cracks, but I come back for more.
Some strange magnetism drawing me to your core.
I'm not capable of hate so it seems, but I'm getting closer.
Close enough to realize the pain caused.
It seems to me that I'm not to blame though my tears
Fall like rain.
I'm drowning in a sea of emotions.
I'm trapped by my actions.
I'm falling prey to my emotions.
What builds my feeling are the stones from which you build
A barrier between me and you.
Un-needed and not wanted. A mental wall banishing
Me from you.
I must destroy this wall allowing us to see each
Other for what we could be or could have been as a unit.

Posted by Jon | July 11, 2012 10:41 AM

I'm psyched for Texas, Mouthpiece and Chain. But, they could of added CIV, Shelter even Farside to this.

On the Might of Princes, Shook Ones and Iceburn?!!

Posted by Anonymous | July 11, 2012 10:43 AM

$156 for the 4-day pass. Ugh. No thanks.

Posted by Anonymous | July 11, 2012 10:47 AM

i see Burn lyrics, if there is any truth to that I will be stoked. other wise this falls a little short of what I was expecting.

Posted by Anonymous | July 11, 2012 10:49 AM

Amazing - 18 bands and not a relevant one in the bunch.

Posted by Anonymous | July 11, 2012 10:52 AM

If Quicksand was playing I'd be interested.

Posted by Anonymous | July 11, 2012 10:56 AM

old guys in cargo shorts are stoked!

Posted by Anonymous | July 11, 2012 10:57 AM

No Elliott?

Posted by Anonymous | July 11, 2012 10:58 AM

Posted by Anonymous | July 11, 2012 10:59 AM

"kinda lame... no earth crisis, no strife, no snapcase... not even dougnuts"

Posted by Anonymous | July 11, 2012 11:05 AM

I feel like if Burn does play they would be playing on Sunday.

Posted by Anonymous | July 11, 2012 11:08 AM

no whirlpool?

Posted by Anonymous | July 11, 2012 11:10 AM

sensefield must be too busy shilling for bengay...

Posted by Anonymous | July 11, 2012 11:12 AM

This label looked like a fake one to me from the get-go, beginning with their horrid logo.

Posted by Anonymous | July 11, 2012 11:15 AM

Gonna get stabby!

Posted by Anonymous | July 11, 2012 11:17 AM

Burn is definitely not going to play. Its not even an idea the majority of the members are entertaining, theyre busy with life and other projects.

Posted by Anonymous | July 11, 2012 11:20 AM

If Hitler and Eva Braun would have made babies...

Posted by Anonymous | July 11, 2012 11:27 AM

Quicksand or Farside and I would be in...otherwise not worth the time... and INSIDE OUT would be damn good

Posted by doomeddeath | July 11, 2012 11:30 AM

11:20: every musician has an ego, even ones with 'life and other projects'

The thought of that ego being stroked for an hour and getting paid for it, is 9.8/10 times the reason reunions happen. We'll see how 'definitley not playing' pans out in October.

Posted by Anonymous | July 11, 2012 11:31 AM

Fuck you brooklyn vegan i want the password! What kind of crap is This!!!

Posted by Anonymous | July 11, 2012 11:31 AM

can we get some mother fucking will haven?

Posted by Anonymous | July 11, 2012 11:33 AM

Chain of strength sucked, bold always sucked, mouthpiece was generic, into another were hc guys that wanted to become rockstars (anyone remember the models planted onstage as stage potatos at cbs?), sensefield were weak reo speedwagon sounding hardcore, iceburn no thanks. Gameface?, youth of today sucked at superbowl. All this show reminds me is that rev peaked in 1989. This is a colossal ripoff.

Posted by Anonymous | July 11, 2012 11:33 AM

On the Might of Princes is def the best surprise here, but still hard not to be disappointed by omission of Elliott, Farside, Quicksand, etc.

And, really hard to believe that Civ or Gorilla Biscuits are not included on the bill...

Posted by Anonymous | July 11, 2012 11:39 AM

Gorilla Biscuits, please

Posted by Anonymous | July 11, 2012 11:39 AM

Man, sounds like a lot of folks woke up on the wrong side of the hummus today.

Posted by Anonymous | July 11, 2012 11:40 AM

sensefield were total reo speedwagon hardcore! good call!

Posted by Anonymous | July 11, 2012 11:46 AM

Will Haven and Drowningman are two bands i would have been very excited about!

Posted by Anonymous | July 11, 2012 11:47 AM

Typical commenter on BV: I don't like anything, so I belittle everyone and anything they like.

in my VAST experience, UNDERDOG has never put on a bad show. always solid. but when they headline, they generally charge no more than $15...still. this $40 nonsense is just that. how could they justify these exhorbitant prices? $160 for four days of $5 bands? C'MON! is the strategy to tease with potential surprise guests, like QUICKSAND showing up to shows in cali? here's a hint: actually book and promote bands with a caliber such as quicksand and have surprises as, well, nice surprise $5 bands (no for an answer...side by side). we all go home happy. as for YOT and GB, they've overexploited that "reunion" buzz. once, twice, was great. beyond that, you're back together and should record new material.

Posted by Anonymous | July 11, 2012 1:05 PM

@12:58 thanks!!!

Posted by Anonymous | July 11, 2012 1:11 PM

1:05 totally agree. I love GB/YOT, seen them in their heyday at CB's, loved their reunions, but enough is enough already. What, is GB going to end up playing every BNB show from now on. Come back in 5 years and I'll probably be excited again.

Posted by Anonymous | July 11, 2012 1:16 PM

Just got my tickets and thanks for the password!

Posted by Anonymous | July 11, 2012 1:29 PM

thank you so much for the password

Posted by Anonymous | July 11, 2012 1:39 PM

some people are saying this is just a preliminary line-up...many, many more bands will be added running up to show.

Posted by Anonymous | July 11, 2012 1:40 PM

Got my ticket for titr - thanks so much for the info!!

Posted by Anonymous | July 11, 2012 1:40 PM

There are three bands playing this anniversary show that I haven't seen...

On The Might Of Princes
Curl Up And Die
Shook Ones

I've never heard of the last two. Not going to go...unless I can get in for free.(jokes)

@ 12:00 Yes, I remember the models @ Into Another shows. Richie was dating a model let's call her "B" and those were "B"s friends, nothing wrong with that.

Posted by Anonymous | July 11, 2012 1:50 PM

put End of a Year SELF DEFENSE FAMILY on this!

Posted by Anonymous | July 11, 2012 1:52 PM

Inside Out seems right for a reunion. Zach is prob ready for a cash grab and Vic is a beast who's always playing.

Posted by Anonymous | July 11, 2012 1:55 PM

1:52 - isn't that the band whose singer sounds like Gary the Retard from Howard Stern show?

Posted by Anonymous | July 11, 2012 2:07 PM

The East Coast got kinda fucked here huh?
Cali's Rev Fest was WAY BETTER.

NYC gets CHAIN, but we don't get GB, SOIA, NFAA or IME.

Posted by Anonymous | July 11, 2012 2:44 PM

What is the password?

Posted by Anonymous | July 11, 2012 2:57 PM

The password is obvious

Posted by Anonymous | July 11, 2012 3:14 PM

^yeah, duh. I can't believe people can't figure it out.

Posted by Anonymous | July 11, 2012 3:21 PM

Into Another were God Awful!

Posted by Anonymous | July 11, 2012 3:23 PM

can someone just post the fucking passward

Posted by Anonymous | July 11, 2012 3:37 PM

Anyone who can't figure out the password is a moron, because it is obvious.

Posted by Anonymous | July 11, 2012 3:38 PM

Obviously people on this board are stupid.

Posted by Anonymous | July 11, 2012 3:46 PM

this is such a load of bullshit. the dudes in these bands don't even care about being in these bands any more. and if they do, they're fucking dumbasses living in the past. listen to the records. and make something new. quit sucking on the teat of obsolete labels who are just trying to move a few more units.

Posted by Anonymous | July 11, 2012 4:42 PM

^true. I know the bass player of one of these bands. He is 40. He laughs about it. I've never asked him, but I wonder why he just doesn't quit.

Posted by Anonymous | July 11, 2012 4:50 PM

First off, Into Another was fucking awesome. You were probably born in the late 80's or 90's. They were rad.

Second, some of these bands still write new stuff...Supertouch and Shai Hulud. Most of the other bands have members in current/active bands (Rival Schools, I Hate our Freedom, No Way and The Judas Knife to name a few)

And lastly, the whole point of this is to celebrate that the label has been around for 25 years by having some of the older bands reunite and play songs from the past catalog.

Anyone on here complaining is either really bored at work, OR has no job OR has never been in a band before. You're the same people that find the time to go on Yelp and complain about bars or restaurants.

Posted by Apollo Creed | July 11, 2012 4:54 PM

"You're the same people that find the time to go on Yelp and complain about bars or restaurants"

haha, I've seen those fools in Brooklyn; taking pictures then spending 5-10 minutes typing furiously into their iphones. I'm going to have a blast at the Texas/Underdog/Shades Apart show.

Posted by Anonymous | July 11, 2012 5:02 PM

If you can't figure out the password, you are clinically retarded.

Posted by Anonymous | July 11, 2012 7:33 PM

The password is: Paul Hanly

Posted by Anonymous | July 11, 2012 9:49 PM

It's obvious that Into Another are garbage!

Posted by Anonymous | July 11, 2012 9:56 PM

BATTERY and DAMNATION AD! Boom

Posted by Anonymous | July 12, 2012 12:24 AM

hopefully otmop play a small show somewhere 0

Posted by Anonymous | July 12, 2012 12:30 AM

The password is Matt Molnar

Posted by Anonymous | July 12, 2012 10:39 AM

According to the Rev website, there will be additional bands on the Friday and Saturday show. Keeping my paws crossed for Quicksand!

Posted by Anonymous | July 12, 2012 2:10 PM

Thursday is sold out already

Posted by Anonymous | July 12, 2012 2:21 PM

^ it goes on sale tomorrow, what sold out is presale. 'obviously' there will be tickets available tomorrow. You're on of those that took 5 hours to figure out the password, huh?

Posted by Anonymous | July 12, 2012 2:27 PM

I just found this msg board 30 minutes ago, I figured out the password in about 3 minutes.

Posted by Anonymous | July 12, 2012 2:49 PM

i still need the password guyzzzzz

Posted by Anonymous | July 12, 2012 5:24 PM

I'm 2:21. The password is obvious enough that it took me about 10 seconds. I just didn't come here early enough.

Posted by Anonymous | July 12, 2012 6:35 PM

jeez, can't anyone have fun anymore? paul hanly has fun, matt molnar has fun.
i think these shows are going to be rad.
lot's of cool bands and yead we don't get to see no for an answer but there are some awesome east coast bands that didn't play the west coast and some cool west coast that didn't play either. I am sure there will be some surprises.
I also doubt that zack delaroach needs any money.

Posted by Anonymous | July 12, 2012 7:15 PM

is Curl Up and Die not on this anymore?

Posted by Anonymous | July 14, 2012 11:57 PM

WARZONE!

Posted by Anonymous | July 15, 2012 11:52 PM

chain is cool but every other band blows. totally not worth it.
