Scissor Sisters at Terminal 5 - 7/6/12

Scissor Sisters wrapped up a tour in NYC this past weekend with shows at Terminal 5 on Friday (7/6) and Saturday (7/7) with Rye Rye and a DJ set from Sammy Jo. The setlist was the same both nights, having relied most heavily on their new album, Magic Hour, and also included a number of older favorites, including their Bee Gees-ified cover of Pink Floyd's "Comfortably Numb." How was the show?

I was a straight guy who went to this show. Funniest part of my night was when I walking in I caught the WORST smell of human body odor I ever have. I was somewhat drunk so I was sniffing myself obnoxiously to check to see if it was me (though, now that I'm sober, realize if it WAS me I probably would've smelled it before). Turned around and saw the huge bear who actually did stink. As I went to go in, heard him say about me "the guy in the white t-shirt is cute." So....win?

They were fantastic! The new music and the old muss played together beautifully. The place was packed and everyone rocked! A great show again.
