DOWNLOAD: Frank Ocean - "Sweet Life" (MP3)

Channel Orange

We mentioned it in today's What's Going On?, but in case you missed it, Frank Ocean is streaming his new album, Channel Orange, in full on his tumblr. The album was set for a July 17 release date, but Frank put it up on iTunes last night/this morning at midnight, a week ahead of its physical release. You've already heard the ten-minute album track, "Pyramids," and he recently revealed another track, "Sweet Life," which you can download for free above.

It's been a pretty big week or so for Frank Ocean, who in addition to unveiling this great new collection of songs, came out about his sexuality, and made his television debut last night (7/9) on Fallon, performing the track, "Bad Religion." You can watch that performance below.

Frank's tour in support of the new album kicks off this Friday (7/13) and comes to NYC for a sold out show at Terminal 5 on July 26.

is he the guy that sings "Carribbean Queen"?

He's not that good of a singer. Listen to him strain on hitting (er, failing) the note at 1:20. More of a rapper than a singer.

The "hmmph" or "ummph" sounds he makes constantly throughout the song is really irritating.

Btw, these lyrics are on par with an 8th-grade marble notebook poet.

They need a P4K review before they can understand what they are hearing in their speakerphones.

Congratulations for posting such a useful weblog. Your blog isn’t only informative but also very artistic too. There normally are very couple of individuals who can write not so simple articles that creatively. Keep up the great work !!
