The xx @ Rock Werchter (more by Tim Griffin)
The xx

The xx just sold out their October 28th show at the Paradise Theater in the Bronx, and have added another show in the same Bronx venue, but happening two days earlier. Tickets for the new show are on sale now. Chairlift opens both shows.

That makes three NYC shows total, as they also play Terminal 5 in August with Jacques Greene.

i'm just assuming pit GA is good?

Here's a pic of GA Pit at Paradise Theater; it's where the boxing ring is (just imagine the entire gated-off section being full of GA standing people.) 'first row' is probably about Row JJ or something. I feel bad because the first 10 rows behind the GA section won't be able to see shit, since this venue isn't designed for Pit GA setups.

Only saw them once but... terrible live show

Nothing but Pit seats available for this. Wondering if all the seats on the lower level are going to be removed and it will all be GA. Just a thought.

Wow even more homely than Eleanor Friedberger!

2:17 I pulled an orchestra seat up...threw it back

Posted by Anonymous | July 20, 2012 2:22 PM

there are orchestra seats available (i pulled as close as row K), so there will be orchestra seats. i bet a lot of people are throwing back the pit tix because they don't see a pit section on the seating chart.

I'm in the GA Pit AND I'm 6'1 so it should be good for me.

with that picture that was supplied (boxing setup) it looks like the pit is = to front row. And everybody will be standing anyway.. so it looks like the best ticket in the house.

Posted by Anonymous | July 20, 2012 2:34 PM

@234 I said 'first ten rows BEHIND the GA section' i meant the first 10 seated rows. they won't be able to see nothin' but hipster butts.

Posted by Anonymous | July 20, 2012 2:37 PM

they're def worth a pit GA ticket for 45 dollars. i don't know about shitty/normal seats for that price, but GA pit for $45 at a seated venue and i'm there.

To clear up a little something, NY was NEVER onsale at arcadefire.com today. I was refreshing all morning and it wasn't there. Whether it was ever supposed to be or not is the confusion. Merge said it would and neither they nor Arcade Fire has said anything to clear that up.
