Roger Waters plays his first of two Yankee Stadium shows tonight.

CBGB Festival continues today.

BrooklynVegan and Southern Lord are proud to present tonight's show at The Acheron with Black Breath, Martyrdod, The Secret, Burning Love, Enabler and Grudges. Tickets are still available.

Saturday are two big free CBGB Festival shows that overlap: Guided by Voices, etc @ Summerstage Vs. CYHSY/The Hold Steady/Superchunk in Times Square.

Redd Kross, who play Music Hall of Williamsburg tonight with The Men, were originally supposed to play a now-cancelled show at Beekman Beer Garden with Superchunk who play tomorrow in Times Square (early).

The DJ Rashad show at 285 Kent tonight goes like this:

? very special guest
?? DJ RASHAD
??? Total Freedom
???? Wheez-ie
????? J-Cush
Who is the guest?

Friends play Bowery Ballroom on Saturday. I wonder if it will be a NSFW show.

Warm Up starts at MoMA PS1 on Saturday.

BV - I'm pretty sure you mean Warm Up starts at MoMA PS1 on SATURDAY.

Live Nation lists "The Liza Colby Sound" whoever that is as the Scorpions openers.

Geoff Tate did a show or two after Queensryche kicked him out but it looks like the Scorps put a stop to that.

If L.A. Guns are in town and playing late, why aren't they doing the early slot opening for the Scorpions? Am I the only person to have thought of this? Just me the anonymous internet poster?

HOW EARLY??????

SET TIMES PEOPLE??.

Posted by Anonymous | July 6, 2012 3:27 PM

What is the deal with the lack of set times for this Times Square show tomorrow? Every other show, including GBV, has them listed on the festival's website. Why the mystery?

WHAT TIME DO THE EVERYMEN GO ON????

Posted by Anonymous | July 6, 2012 3:45 PM

McCarren Park workers seem to be blocking off the grassy part of the park to install swingsets, geodesic domes, other playground stuff, to attract more children from the pool. jesus.

Posted by Anonymous | July 6, 2012 7:42 PM

Can't they bus the minorities to a camp someplace? or just let they play in front of a fire hydrant if it's hot. McCarren pool should be reserved for hipster use only.

It's time to choose a side and FIGHT

The sad part is, I bet most people that are at these events REALLY think this way. Seriously, go to a show and find this out first hand. It's kind of disgusting to the this entitlement attitude right in your face at these events. Nothing a little physical violence wouldn't solve though, eh?
