Tonight was supposed to be Van Halen at the Izod Center. Luckily Def Leppard is around to instead supply the rock at Jones Beach.

Doveman at Le Possion Rouge tonight is also cancelled.

Billy Bragg and Steve Earle celebrate Woody Guthrie's 100th birthday tonight and tomorrow.

The 4Knots Music Festival is Saturday. Meanwhile catch Eleanor Friedberger, Ex-Cops and Zambri at the Seaport tonight. The Band in Heaven play Skipper's right behind the Seaport stage immediately after.

Widowspeak's free House of Vans show is coming up soon, but meanwhile they added an even sooner show, one happening tonight, right down the street at 285 Kent. Total Slacker and Parquet Courts and Husky from Mexico are also on the bill.

Don't forget that Blitzen Trapper and Ben Kweller play tomorrow afternoon (7/14, 3 - 6PM) on the Oval in Stuyvesant Town.

Cloud Nothings were on Late Night with Jimmy Fallon last night, knocking out "Stay Useless" and you can watch the video of that below.

We're still a week out from The Dark Knight Rises but you can check out this new trailer, dubbed by Pee Wee Herman, below.

You can also watch Kendrick Lamar and Bethany from Best Coast perform "No Make-Up" in Portland below as well.

Dirty Three made a video for their new song "Rising Below" and you can watch that below.

Amy Pohler stops by the first episode of Amy Miles' web show Meow Meow Music which you can watch below.

What else?

Here's a taste of what you're likely to hear at the WoodyFest at City Winery:

Def Leppard!

Too bad Jason is only in Manhattan for like 20 minutes. The rest of the movie is "Jason Takes a Cruise Ship".

No one make any snarky comments. There's a guy who reads the "What's going on" columns who will get very angry.

If you go to the City Winery tonight, you should practice your singing so that Steve Earle doesn't tell you "That sucks!"

Despite all those listings, Morris Day, El-P and (at least according to Dave Hill) Def Leppard are the only games in town tonight. Other than that...weak night.

The Dice Man!

"Little Boy Blue... hey, he needed the money."

"weak night."

Kinky and the rest of the Summerstage line up are good, but you might not be into them if you only listen to music that some midwestern hipster transplant tells you to listen to.

The Philharmonic have been getting out of control in the past several years. Too many corrals.

So So Glos are a great band, but I always feel like I am the only one that thinks so.

10:58 Calle 13 actually said they were waiting for the stinky pimple face who never, ever, leaves his parent's basement to leave so they could finally start the real show. Sorry, chubs
