The Dark Knight Rises >>>>>>>> Squeeze

Hot Chip @ T5? Here's hoping that goes the way of Great White.

Posted by Anonymous | July 20, 2012 9:47 AM

^You're an asshole!

Posted by Anonymous | July 20, 2012 9:55 AM

So 9:47 you are hoping 100 people get killed in a fire? Right, just want to be sure. You're a sick f8ck check into a mental hospital

Posted by Anonymous | July 20, 2012 9:58 AM

"The Dark Knight Rises <<<<<<<<< Squeeze"

I agree. The whole Dark Knight hype is way overblown.

Posted by Anonymous | July 20, 2012 10:00 AM

Christopher Nolan is such a hack.

Posted by Anonymous | July 20, 2012 10:13 AM

how is he a hack?

^ Oh, come on. You know you love talking trash anonymously on here. People probably only say this when they see comments they REALLY don't like.

Posted by Anonymous | July 20, 2012 10:21 AM

dear 10:18, please go to another site. This one thrives on anonymous comments. thanks.

Anybody know if the Squeeze/Romantics thing is rain or shine? Weather is def. not looking promising... Hotline number on concert series website has nothing right now.

Posted by Anonymous | July 20, 2012 10:25 AM

9:47 crossed the line...make fun off all the bands you want but to hope people get killed enjoying a concert...not acceptable.

Posted by Anonymous | July 20, 2012 10:25 AM

The Dark Fart Rises...

Posted by Anonymous | July 20, 2012 10:26 AM

Would you people react the same way if it was a metal show at Terminal 5?

Posted by Anonymous | July 20, 2012 10:31 AM

^Sure..I don't begrudge/wish death upon people having fun even if it is a band I despise.

Posted by Anonymous | July 20, 2012 10:37 AM

9:47 has got nerds mad! hahaha

Posted by Anonymous | July 20, 2012 10:37 AM

10:37 go back to your room. You're grounded still.

Posted by Anonymous | July 20, 2012 10:42 AM

FART HARDER

Posted by Anonymous | July 20, 2012 10:48 AM

1st 10:37 fair enough. You don't seem to espouse the trendie mentality, so that's good.

Posted by Anonymous | July 20, 2012 10:56 AM

The Dark Knight sucked yo

Posted by Anonymous | July 20, 2012 10:57 AM

wait, is Frank Ocean gay?

Posted by Anonymous | July 20, 2012 11:01 AM

Frank Ocean > Dark Knight Rises > Gay

Posted by Anonymous | July 20, 2012 11:05 AM

10:57: Yep. And heath Ledger's performance as the Joker was VASTLY overrated. If he didn't die, I'm sure there wouldn't be nearly enough hype as his character got.

Posted by Anonymous | July 20, 2012 11:06 AM

^ yeah Loki was a much better villain. I liked the part when he sneered and said something stupid.

Posted by Anonymous | July 20, 2012 11:09 AM

Ya think the Dark Knight Rises got violent? wait til the new Superman movie hits!

Posted by too soon | July 20, 2012 11:17 AM

Dark Knight was ghey!

Posted by Anonymous | July 20, 2012 11:24 AM

Frank Ocean too?

Posted by Anonymous | July 20, 2012 11:27 AM

Remember how Christopher Nolan use to direct compelling indie films? Not these big, overblown, self-indulgent CGI extravaganzas. Just like when Radiohead use to be an actual band.

Posted by Anonymous | July 20, 2012 11:32 AM

were any of the dark knight victims hippies?

Posted by Anonymous | July 20, 2012 11:37 AM

people still listen to Hot Chip?

Posted by Anonymous | July 20, 2012 11:43 AM

"CGI extravaganzas"

very little CGI in any of the Batman films in comparison to most big budget action movies

Posted by Anonymous | July 20, 2012 11:58 AM

I guessing the only way you can protect your family is to be packing a gun 24/7!

Posted by too soon | July 20, 2012 11:59 AM

Can we get Christopher Nolan to direct a Grateful Dead documentary?

Posted by Anonymous | July 20, 2012 12:04 PM

DJ RASHAD AND DJ SPINN FOR THE WINN

Posted by Anonymous | July 20, 2012 1:18 PM

11:32: I do. A rare kind we seem to be, I presume these days.

I do so love it every time some smarty pants makes such a comment and completely misses the hypocrisy. Kind of like those people that argue that we should be paying more taxes, but takes every deduction they are possibly allowed (and probably some they are not). So typical.

Posted by Anonymous | July 20, 2012 2:08 PM

wait... the dark knight is gay?

Posted by Anonymous | July 20, 2012 2:20 PM

is the singer of hot chip wearing a denim dickie?

...groundbreaking

Posted by Anonymous | July 20, 2012 2:22 PM

10:18 - please remember that Anonymity Makes It Slip Automatically To Either Extreme (you suck)

Posted by Anonymous | July 20, 2012 2:23 PM

To clear up a little something, NY was NEVER onsale at arcadefire.com today. I was refreshing all morning and it wasn't there. Whether it was ever supposed to be or not is the confusion. Merge said it would and neither they nor Arcade Fire has said anything to clear that up.
