Alt-J at Glasslands - 8/7/12

UK band Alt-J played their second of two NYC shows (and first in Brooklyn) last night (8/7) at Glasslands, after having played Mercury Lounge a day earlier (8/6). Both shows were sold out, and like at the Mercury show, most of the crowd knew the words to every song. The setlist was similar to the previous night, playing 12 of the songs on their debut LP, An Awesome Wave (interludes and hidden track included), which comes out in America on September 18 via Canvasback.
Alt-J will return to NYC on their larger North American tour which hits Bowery Ballroom on September 12. Tickets for that show are still available.
Mon Khmer and SoftSpot opened the show. More pictures of all three bands are below...

alt-j will be huge. attended this show on whim and so glad I did. their sound is so tight its ofensive. every other band from UK, just go away, no need for you, it's Alt J's time. This time next year, they'll be playing big big venues.
and no I dot not work with this band. @ 11:41.
