No Wave legend and all-around cool dude Arto Lindsay will be performing this evening (8/8) in Union Square as part of the free Summer Nights series which is presented by the Arte Institute. Tonight's program, curated by Sao Paulo, Brazil's Instituto de Cultura Contemporeana-ICC, begins at 8 PM and also features videos by artist Eder Santos and director Cao Guimaraes. More info on tonight's show is here.
Arto Lindsay has also been added to the 285 Kent show on Friday (8/10) that was already a really good line-up with Fergus & Geronimo, Peoples Temple, Family Curse, Mannequin Pussy and DJs Habibi.

WTF, Arto is a legend and he's playing with juvenille clowns like Fergus and Geronimo?

3 comments but some boring, dopey indie crap and there will be dozens of comments. Proof most people on here don't know the fist thing about music.
