Escort w/ Darcy James Argue's Secret Society, WFC 8/25/2012

This year's Ecstatic Summer Festival, which paired more traditional bands with composers and avant-garde musicians, came to a close on Saturday (8/25) at World Financial Center Plaza with a performance from NY's disco-loving Escort and Canadian jazz ensemble Darcy James Argue's Secret Society. The bands did separate sets, but joined together with strings and horns, it made for a highly-orchestrated disco blowout to finish the season.
You can catch Escort again when they play Webster Hall on October 27. Tickets for that show are still available.
More pictures from Saturday night's show are below...

I just quickly read the headline and thought Terence Trent D'arby was going on tour.
Oh well . . . back to my miserable life.

This show was awesome. You should seriously check out the Secret Society if you can- they killed it. Escort was a lot of fun too, and the venue is beautiful on a nice night.
