with prices that high, you're inviting the 45+ crowd. thanks.

i'll retain the memory of seeing the full band years ago instead.

Same thing will happen with Jack White...

I guess Thursday was all but sold-out during the presale because repeated attempts came up empty. Friday was a breeze though.

Posted by Anonymous | August 3, 2012 10:11 AM

pretty easy to score these

Posted by Anonymous | August 3, 2012 10:19 AM

9:30
right
glad you won't be holding up your cell phone and talking...

Posted by Anonymous | August 3, 2012 10:19 AM

Why are fees $14+ per ticket???

Posted by Anonymous | August 3, 2012 10:19 AM

^great questions...no reason..I guess just because...worst thing is if you go to Irving Plaza to buy tickets they charge you a $5 fee there when it used to be free!

Posted by Anonymous | August 3, 2012 10:22 AM

are both shows sold out already?

Posted by Anonymous | August 3, 2012 10:23 AM

Fri still available as of right now

Posted by Anonymous | August 3, 2012 10:27 AM

the shell of a shell of a band.

Posted by Anonymous | August 3, 2012 10:30 AM

What service was provided that warrants a $14 fee?

Posted by Anonymous | August 3, 2012 10:31 AM

wish I knew they would add a friday show yesterday before I bought presale tixs for thursday.

Posted by Anonymous | August 3, 2012 10:38 AM

^yeah frustrating..but prob intentional

Posted by Anonymous | August 3, 2012 10:40 AM

1030. I head what you are saying but to me Hook is overrated. I saw him do one of those Joy Division shows and he didn't even play the bass parts he made famous..his son did at the live shows..so you know what..New Order doesn't need Hook now...I am just going because it is my only chance to hear the songs live for me.

Posted by Anonymous | August 3, 2012 10:47 AM

I just scored both Thursday and Friday tickets

Posted by Anonymous | August 3, 2012 10:52 AM

"the shell of a shell of a band."

I guess. They haven't had the full band play in over 10 years, so whatever. 3/4 is still pretty good. And sure I'd rather see Hook play, but it'll still be fun without him.

do they have a new album coming out?
saw them last tour, they taped the show at Hammerstein i believe

Posted by Anonymous | August 3, 2012 11:08 AM

They were sooooooooo much better before they existed! Amirite fellow trendies, who've never seen them live anyway???

Posted by Anonymous | August 3, 2012 11:16 AM

Game, set, and match goes to 11:16.

Posted by Anonymous | August 3, 2012 11:23 AM

this is bizarre love triangle and temptation new order, right? people really care about this? this must def be the 45+ crowd, then.

Posted by Anonymous | August 3, 2012 11:46 AM

Wish Blur would do two NYC dates..their recent Uk setlist have been great!!!

Posted by Anonymous | August 3, 2012 11:51 AM

11:46- Or people who recognize influential music. Just saying.

Posted by Anonymous | August 3, 2012 11:51 AM

ROSELAND -- THE WORST PLACE TO SEE A SHOW IN NYC. This place should be torn down immediately.
2nd is TERMINAL 5. Why don't they play at Hammerstein or something a little more civilized. Grief all night at this place.

Posted by Anonymous | August 3, 2012 11:52 AM

^agreed!

Posted by Anonymous | August 3, 2012 11:55 AM

UK bands always play Roseland

Posted by Anonymous | August 3, 2012 12:10 PM

^BLIMEY!

Posted by Anonymous | August 3, 2012 12:18 PM

Might be worth it to get a sitter one of those nights...gonna dance so hard, then the next day in the meeting I'll be chuckling to myself thinking of how hard I danced the night before and these other people probably just watched tv or something!

Posted by Anonymous | August 3, 2012 1:49 PM

^Rockin Daddy?

Posted by Anonymous | August 3, 2012 2:10 PM

One of my favorite bands ever, but $75 is steeeeeep.

Posted by Anonymous | August 4, 2012 6:12 PM

"^Rockin Daddy?

Posted by Anonymous | August 3, 2012 2:10 PM"

while i don't dig the moniker, i DID pick up a pair of tix for friday night.

just hoping my first time seeing New Order in 23 yrs. won't be ruined by hipsters holding up cameras and talking incessantly.

oh, wait. i forgot. it will be.

Posted by Anonymous | August 6, 2012 9:50 AM

and 6:12pm - a favourite band and you're complaining about $74?

i'll give you $100 to go away, never post here again, and move back to: colorado, michigan, pennsylvania or wherever you migrated from.

Posted by Anonymous | August 6, 2012 9:52 AM

you know the band/promoter is getting that $14 and putting it off as "fees" rite?

Posted by Anonymous | August 9, 2012 12:47 AM

anyone know what time New Order is going on tonight?

Posted by Anonymous | October 18, 2012 3:17 PM

Roseland says the opener is on at 8 and New Order at 8:45. Roseland didn't, however, know the name of the opening act.

Posted by Anonymous | October 18, 2012 4:43 PM

Yeah, Bernard Sumner will go on right after the all you can eat buffet. He ain't missing that.

Posted by Anonymous | October 18, 2012 5:21 PM

Thank god they are still touring. I love New Order and want to see them live as many times as I possibly can. They were progressive for their time. Few bands can compare to the level of talent new order offers it's audience.
