Not Dead Yet is a Toronto-based festival that features some of the best current punk/hardcore bands in existence right now. The six-day festival will feature photography, matinees, night and day shows across various venues in the Canadian city and will features the likes of Grass Widow, Leather (who recently played Acheron), The Inmates (who last played NYC with Systematic Death), Hoax, Crazy Spirit, Pick Your Side, The Men (who recently played Pitchfork), Give, Burning Love (who recently played Acheron), Creem, Omegas, Waste Management, Vile Gash, Magrudergrind, Iron Lung, Walls (who recently played Acheron), Vaccine, Raw Meat, Rival Mob, Boston Strangler (who played LPR with Tragedy), Urban Blight, Death Evocation (who recently played Acheron), Hounds of Hate and so many more. Full festival details are below. Tickets for Not Dead Yet go on sale Saturday, September 1.

As I just mentioned them, Hoax are scheduled to play the first night of Power of The Riff East, joining Pentagram (playing Relentless in full!), Agnostic Front (playing Victim in Pain/United Blood in full!), Xibalba and many esteemed others. Tickets are still available for 9/1 and 9/2 separately (with a free screened poster) or for a two-day passes with a Southern Lord vinyl pack.

You got to hand it to Canada. They have some amazing musicians for such a small country. Will Canada's not that small but compared to United States. Canada is tiny.
