Pentagram - 'Relentless' art
Relentless

I'm proud to announce that in addition to the special Agnostic Front set at Power of The Riff (all of Victim in Pain/United Blood), Pentagram will perform their classic debut, Relentless, from front to back and for the first time since the 80s! In addition to AF, the doom gods will also be joined by Negative Approach, the newly added Hoax, Xibalba, Alpha & Omega and Power Trip for the first night at Warsaw (9/1). Tickets are still available for 9/1 and 9/2 separately (with a free screened poster) or for a two-day passes with a Southern Lord vinyl pack.

If you missed it, we posted an interview with Scott Carlson of Repulsion.

Stream all of the Pentagram s/t LP below (which was later reissued as Relentless) alongside all tour dates.

Sweeeet!!!

Posted by Anonymous | August 22, 2012 2:53 PM

@2:42...bet you were twirling your poser hipster moustache while writing that one.

Posted by Anonymous | August 22, 2012 3:41 PM

Love, exciting and new! Come aboard, we're expecting youuuuuuuuuu!

3:41: He's also still in pain that the Talking Heads will never reunite. Perhaps he should channel his frustration into something healthier.

SMH @ sausage projection. The funniest thing about sausages (next to the glaringly low self awareness and profound repulsion towards females, or course) is their florid imaginations. Must come from rejecting reality, logic, truth, etc. It's like a fertile garden of comic vegetables. LULZ!

Posted by Anonymous | August 22, 2012 4:25 PM

No moustache. No fan of T Heads. No single speed bicycle. Not a hipster, sausage. So sorry - try again tomorrow!

4:25/4:27: Denial, projection, self-loathing. These are the three key symptoms for scarfitis. You do realize that you fit all the criteria, right? Ok, well, let me put it in your language: "Strut your stuff you hip thang you, amirite?".

Posted by Anonymous | August 22, 2012 4:44 PM

LULZ at 3:74, amirite?

Posted by Anonymous | August 22, 2012 4:48 PM

I disagree with 3:86. That is all I have to say, case closed.

Posted by Anonymous | August 22, 2012 4:51 PM

4:44 is having a bad hair day. Oh wait ... is this you 4:44?

http://i1009.photobucket.com/albums/af216/Jaysauras/best_guy_ever.jpg

I think it is!

Posted by Anonymous | August 22, 2012 4:54 PM

4:54- forever cementing the fact that scarves, while they talk about women all the time, really only use them as beards. Only a gay man would know how to find such a picture.

Posted by Anonymous | August 22, 2012 5:10 PM

Yup, 4:54 nailed it. That there is 4:44/5:10 alright. Only a shame-filled sausage would claim ignorance to one of the most well know meme pictures on the music corner of the internet for the past 5 years. Or a fucking moron.

Which one is it boy? You a fruit loop shut in or just a garden variety retard?

I'll wait for your answer.

Posted by Anonymous | August 22, 2012 5:29 PM

4:25 really nailed it

Posted by Anonymous | August 22, 2012 6:04 PM

5:29- gonna be a long wait there , closet case. I refuse to follow your infantile/deflection parameters. Maybe a nice straw man argument should be your next tactic, you silly little child, because projection does NOT suit you.

Posted by Anonymous | August 22, 2012 6:39 PM

"one of the most well know meme pictures on the music corner of the internet for the past 5 years."

And how many years has it been since you left your mom's house then?

Posted by Anonymous | August 22, 2012 6:58 PM

5:10: Nice "beard" reference there! Fitting! LOL!

Trendies in lockers FTL. Maybe it's still a post-ironic world after all :(

PENTAGRAM is amazing

Posted by Anonymous | August 22, 2012 7:25 PM

7:25- absolutely.

Posted by Anonymous | August 22, 2012 8:53 PM

I like how he denies he's a hipster, instantly confirming he is. What a fucking loser.

Posted by Anonymous | August 22, 2012 9:53 PM

Vegetarian fan of Pentagram and Talking Heads here. AMA.

AF in 2012? zzzzz
NA in 2012? zzzzz
PI in 2012? zzzzz

This is like going to a county fair to see Journey, Toto & Styx in 2012.

I would advise you just listen to their rippin' records and not put yourself through the agony of watching a bunch of old(er) dudes try to squeeze the life out of their musical souls for a couple of bucks.

Why not get REAL current bands like Creem, No Tolerance or Boston Stranglers?

Posted by Tony_Wyoming | August 23, 2012 12:38 AM

dumb ass sausages, trying to get psychological. as usual, utter fail and quite revealing. so typical, so boring.

Posted by Anonymous | August 23, 2012 10:05 AM

^ That is an extremely interesting comment you made there. It is neither typical nor boring. I have never seen a comment like this on a BV thread. Bravo.

the real question is, will Bobby Liebling show up? the end of Last Days Here would seem to suggest he's straightened up his act, but the chances he'll stick to the straight and narrow are shaky at best.

Posted by Anonymous | August 23, 2012 11:15 AM

^ well, the last time I saw Pentagram, he looked like he was 75, but performed like he was still in his early 30s. I'd say it would at least be a solid performance throughout.

Posted by Anonymous | August 23, 2012 11:31 AM

10:05- anyon who uses the term "fail" in such a manner and then pretends to condescend is obviously too stupid to see the irony of their post.

The end of "Last Days Here" was in early 2009, 3 years ago. Since then, Pentagram has toured the US twice and Europe once and Bobby has showed up and performed fine at every show.

I think the biggest point is here, why would you take cheap shots out of nowhere at the fans psyched to see bands they love, and at least one of which, ag front, that is from nyc ; put ny hardcore in the map, and has an amazing timeless album...I mean why should u even comment on music site if ur just going to try to insult people involved. You obvioudly dont really hsve any deep love of music, you are mire into wstching and criticizing the 'scene' involved. So yeah, scenester and poseur fit you as names unless you retract your statements minimizing one of the most powerful, radical, and sustaining forms of music, all of you who did. I bet you would now deny liking any band, even ones you like; just so you could keep denying youre a hipster or poseur. You are just like a Maury Povich guest, an embarrasment and pity to behold. Long live hardcore, metal. , and all fans of it and anything true.

I'm not going to lie I have the song Forever My Queen on repeat all the time in my car. People that don't listen to Pentagram are missing out.

Yeah, but only early Pentagram! The Randy Palmer era is, how they say, THE SHIT.
