really? it sold out in literally 2 seconds? i couldn't pull a single ticket up right when they went on sale. that's a bit fishy.
Posted by Anonymous | August 3, 2012 10:05 AM
Yeah they were gone instantly.
Posted by Anonymous | August 3, 2012 10:06 AM
yea well there's more than 5500 jack white fans in nyc! bowery presents do you job and add a second show now!

refreshed at 9:59 to 10:00, got right in & got shut out.
good old TM.. can't wait to see those $400 tickets listed on stubhub!
Posted by oldfart | August 3, 2012 10:07 AM
Every show that BV announces sells out immediately
Posted by Anonymous | August 3, 2012 10:09 AM
I think this was like LCD MSG scam from Bowery Presents. Hey, let's stash away those good tickets to brokers/stubhub and we'll sell more the week of show!
Goddamn NYC shows.

No interest!

Same here, refreshed continuously starting a couple of minutes before, tried buying at exactly 10:00:00, and still nothing. Now I remember why I almost never bother going to big-name shows.

Was in promptly at 10 and said "tickets unavailable". Didn't even get wait screened. This is horseshit. I had an easier time getting tickets to Radiohead at Roseland.

@1009v1 gets it

This really should have been expected. "Let's put a guy who head lines sold out festivals with tens of thousands of people, in a 6,000 capacity venue in (probably) the toughest city to get tickets to anything in remote demand."
Posted by Anonymous | August 3, 2012 10:14 AM
Just wait till the White Stripes get back together in year 2015...
Posted by Anonymous | August 3, 2012 10:15 AM
4x face nation army son!

How many times can one be tricked?

Methinks a second night will be added along with dates in surrounding cities. Ol' Bowery Presents is up to it again.

You refreshed too early and got locked out.

i should've went for these instead of the new order shows huh smh
Posted by Anonymous | August 3, 2012 10:19 AM
I have to believe they are adding a second show, his tour schedule has a lot of off days right around the time of the concert. Also, RC has nothing scheduled for the the week after the 9/29 show.

How can Bonny Ver play 4 nights and Jack White only gets 1 night?~
This is so wrong on so many levels...
Posted by Anonymous | August 3, 2012 10:20 AM
Jack White fans = Blues Lawyers
Blues Lawyers = $$$$$
$4 face! 4x face!

Posted by Anonymous | August 3, 2012 10:26 AM
Shockingly I actually scored a ticket, right at 10. Had been shut out of the Roseland and Webster Hall shows so it was beyond my turn!
Posted by Anonymous | August 3, 2012 10:30 AM
Wow, this really makes we wonder how I got tix to Webster.
Posted by Venkman | August 3, 2012 10:32 AM
So glad I saw him in Detroit in May, other than the fact that I had to go to Detroit.
Posted by Anonymous | August 3, 2012 10:34 AM
webster was will call only so there were a lot fewer scalpers
Posted by Anonymous | August 3, 2012 10:35 AM
Had to settle for Stubhub but luckily didn't pay much over face value for orchestra.
I can't believe that it was 10x easier to get tickets to his Roseland shows when Roseland is much smaller.
Posted by Steve | August 3, 2012 10:36 AM
Remember when you were able to buy tickets @ Tower Records and you actually waited in line? I miss those days...
