Kendrick Lamar's shoes at Pitchfork Fest 2012 (more by James Richards IV)
Kendrick Lamar

Tickets for the Kendrick Lamar show at Terminal 5 with fellow Black Hippy crewmates Ab-Soul and Jay Rock have been posted and go on sale Wednesday (8/8) at noon.

The fourth Black Hippy member, Schoolboy Q will be in NYC soon after that for his show at Roseland Ballroom with A$AP Rocky and Danny Brown. Tickets for that show went on sale today at 10 AM and are still available.

Meanwhile, the similarly named (but much older) rapper Aesop Rock (who A$AP Rocky insists he'd never heard of) plays NYC TONIGHT (8/3) at Irving Plaza. Tickets for that show are still available.

As mentioned, GZA, Killer Mike, Sweet Valley, and Bear Hands are touring together this year and hitting NYC on October 18 Irving Plaza. Since we first mentioned that tour, it's been announced that GZA will be performing Liquid Swords at the show. Tickets have also since been posted, and they go on sale on Saturday (8/4) at 10 AM.

Talib Kweli, who just played a college student/intern event at Highline Ballroom last night (8/2) will play a more traditional show in NYC on Tuesday (8/7) at Brooklyn Bowl. It's a live full band show with support from DJ Jasmine Solano and DJ Mad Sol. Tickets for that show are on sale now.
