Posted by Anonymous | August 9, 2012 12:10 PM

Lower...all of the dissonance of Iceage...but none of the melodic sensibility. Kinda like bad Iceage throwaway b-sides.

Posted by Anonymous | August 9, 2012 12:20 PM

Braid set times:

8:45 - laura stevenson
9:30 - owen

Posted by Anonymous | August 9, 2012 7:04 PM

Grimes is the sound of a prison ass rape

Posted by Anonymous | August 9, 2012 8:31 PM

!!! was a damn good show. Exceeded expectations. Tight performance. Liked the Lenny Williams song. And in comparison to M83 the night before, the crowd up front actually was there for the performance. Lots of dancing. Didn't hear too much chatting.

Posted by Anonymous | August 10, 2012 8:21 AM

love u grimes

Posted by Anonymous | August 10, 2012 9:04 AM

grimey killed it. luv her.

Posted by Anonymous | August 10, 2012 9:24 AM

Braid was fun, but man, those dudes did not age well!

Posted by Anonymous | August 10, 2012 9:33 AM

933 how long did they play for?

ps ended up seeing bloc party after !!! (yes 821am, the new songs sounded great!) and terminal 5 still sucks ass. goddamn why do they oversell the place?

Posted by Anonymous | August 10, 2012 9:45 AM

Grimey hummus

Posted by Anonymous | August 10, 2012 10:16 AM

@9:45 - Went on around 10:30. Played until midnight or so.

Posted by Anonymous | August 10, 2012 11:22 AM

Braid was really fun. Mostly very unpretentious people just having fun and falling over themselves. A lot of fat dudes in their 30s. A few out-of-place confused hipsters who probably wanted to see Grimes but were at the wrong venue.

Posted by Anonymous | August 10, 2012 12:06 PM

12:06 - Well said. They were a bit sloppy at first. You can tell there is some leftover tension between Chris and Robert.

I remember seeing them in 2004? at the Bowery. Place was packed. Not so much last night.

Can you email me with some pointers on how you made your site look this awesome, I would appreciate it.

What's wrong with Grime? It's a great style of music. At least I think so. I mean Grime isn't my all time favorite type of music but it's good.

I gotta admit, I am more disheartened by the “generic commenter” than I am by the blatant spammer. You may ask why at least the obvious spammer is more open and honest about their spamming! I know who they are. The so called generic commenter is a cheat and also a charlatan You can probably spot that I have very strong opinions toward this group of “individuals”
