Today is the final installment of the 2012 Summer Thunder series at Union Pool with K-Holes, Viva L'American Death Ray Music, and Turn To Crime. Fun starts at 3PM. Free.

At the Old American Can Factory in Gowanus, it's the closing party for Rooftop Films 2012 season with a program of short films and music from Beacon.

Sharon Jones & the Dap Kings and Antibalas play a free show at Williamsburg Park tonight with The Electric Sound of Johnny Arrow opening. 5 PM doors.

Sonny & the Sunsets wrap up a three-show NYC-area run tonight at Glasslands with Magic Trick (Tim of Fresh & Onlys' other band). Tickets are still available and is highly-recommended. Check out the video for Sonny & the Sunsets' "Pretend You Love Me" below.
