DOWNLOAD: Callers - "Heroes" (MP3)

Brooklyn's Callers, who just wrapped up a tour with Wye Oak which hit the NYC area twice last week, are heading out this October as a support act for Dirty Projectors on their European tour. Upon returning home, they'll play a local show with fellow Brooklynites Sam Mickens Ecstatic Showband & Revue at Mercury Lounge on November 7. Tickets for that show go on AmEx presale today (9/26) at noon with a general on-sale starting Friday (9/28) at noon. All Callers dates are listed below.
As mentioned, Callers will release their new album, Reviver, on October 9 via their new label, Partisan Records. You can grab the track "Heroes" off of that album above, or stream it below.
Sam Mickens is working on a new album too. It's titled Kayfabe: Laamb of G.O.D., and it was successfully funded on kickstarter earlier this month. The video for his 2011 single, "One Final Round," is below.
