Phil Elverum’s Mount Eerie project has two solid albums out this year (Clear Moon and Ocean Roar) and he’s been supporting both of them on tour with guitar great Loren Connors. That tour came to NYC over the weekend for shows at 285 Kent (9/15) and Le Poisson Rouge (9/16). At LPR, Mount Eerie focused mainly on material from the two new full lengths, but also reached back to his Eleven Old Songs of Mount Eerie album for the song, “Who?,” which Phil and his band followed with an impromptu “black metal version” of. For those wondering, no Microphones material was played (not that it took away from his otherwise great set). If you missed the show, did you stream it online?

The tour continues in Philly tonight (9/17). More pictures and the setlist from the LPR show are below.
