Of Monsters and Men @ Hotel Vegan 3/15/2012 (more by Amanda Rae)
OM&M
Icelandic indie folk phemons Of Monsters and Men are coming back to America this fall for their biggest tour yet. After selling out Music Hall of Williamsburg and Webster Hall back in April, it's no real surprise that the band would move up for Terminal 5 for their next show: which is happening on November 20. Tickets go on sale Friday, September 21 at noon with an AmEx presale beginning Thursday (9/20) at noon.

All Of Monsters and Men North American tour dates are listed below, along with a video of their single "Mountain Sound."

Big gap between 11/20 and 11/24 so expect another date to be added.

Wow, what a perfect room for their sound. Simply couldn't have possibly picked a better venue in New York City!

Big jump from MHOW to T5...glad I saw them when nobody cared.

"glad I saw them when nobody cared."

No one actually still cares. Well no one who has any real discerning or good taste in music. Lemmings, know nothings etc will flock to Terminal Soundslikecrap

Hugely overrated hype-created band that will soon be back playing places much smaller. Its as if all of Iceland forgot that they make very excellent and original music themselves and just decided to copy Arcade Fire, badly.

3:17 - 3:54 (except 3:23),

I bet they are better than your bands.

I know one song by this band and one song by the head and the heart, but they are the same band to me.

Not a jump from MHOW, it's the next step from selling out Webster. Makes sense.

"glad I saw them when nobody cared"

Oh, I get it! That's supposed to be, um, hmmmm, what's the word again that has all you trendies all giddy an' shit..... ah! "Ironic"! That's it!
Yes, it's Ironic that you're glad you saw them when nobody cared, when usually it's attitudes like that that care way too much about hoping people will somehow marvel at the fact that you even knew of them, much less liked them, when absolutely nobody else even heard of them. Woooo Woooo!

FWIW, yet another uninspired flavor-of-the-month indie rock band that will lose it's "cult" following fairly quickly.

Also, the "endfatrock" joke seems to be the apparent (or maybe *uhohhereitcomesagain*... Ironic) loophole for hipsters ragging on their own precious hipster music.

...and remember kids, grab as many rocks as you can to toss at the dirty OWS-ers today!

The BV comments section is always a great place to go if you need a reminder that there are some really, really miserable people in the world.
