There's no way the music will match that cover art. The cover art is amazing.

Considering everything Cornell's done since this band broke up originally is god awful, I'm not optimistic. Hoping it's decent, at least.

5:06: I guess because there are no scarves and rainbows in the cover, it's not up to your style?

Best ever? I dont think its possible for them to do anything better than Badmotorfinger...

Posted by Anonymous | September 18, 2012 9:29 AM

Posted by Anonymous | September 18, 2012 10:00 AM

A random guy said that this would be the best ever. I kinda have to go with that.

Posted by Anonymous | September 18, 2012 10:37 AM

The cover art is just a taste to come of what the record will sound like! It will be amazing! Why would they put out s crappy record ? they never did before and they won't disappoint

^ cough. "Spoonman." Thank you. That is all.

As long as none of the songs resemble Live to Rise ...

In my opinion, Superunknown is one of the best hard rock albums of all tie. I love Badmotorfinger and Down on the Upside is awesome as well. Audioslave had its moments and although the Timbaland produced Cornell solo stuff is laughable, I'm hoping these guys are legitimately trying to blow us away with some great new music.

Live to Rise was way too Audioslavey. I'm still holding out some hope that was a one-off. Down on the Upside was an incredible follow up to superunknown - way more nuanced.

Finally they're back! I can't wait to hear them do that Cherry Cola song live again.
