Black metal-ambient-noise terrorists Sutekh Hexen completed a round of dates with a show at Hopscotch over the weekend, but hit NYC at Saint Vitus on September 4 as part of a larger East Coast tour. It was here that the trio filled the back room with billowing smoke, droning dread and black metal riffs. Though the show was a small one, the music and atmosphere made the room feel claustrophobic and suffocating.
Supporting Sutekh Hexen was Rust Worship, Oneirogen and Andrew Hock of Castevet. Pictures of all bands and video of Sutekh Hexen, Oneirogen and Andrew Hock are below.

Best way for a sausage to have guilt free encounters at the St. Vitus glory hole? More fog.

Posted by Anonymous | September 10, 2012 2:09 PM

^correct. Sausages believe what happens in the fog doesn't really count.

I hate it when a band fills a venue with "fog". That shit has to give you cancer. I don't see how it couldn't give you cancer. I don't want cancer. I don't want to die from cancer. Please quit trying to kill me with cancer, bands.

^ according to wikipedia (so it's true) cancer isn't a side effect, but respiratory problems are... so fuck fog. no more fog.

Pretty sure that the music will give you cancer of the ear canal. But not to worry, the molesting from members of the crowd shrouded in fog will cause much more lasting scars. Best to stay away altogether.

^so true. Unfortunately I wound up at this show. It was like a men's room at a highway rest stop in there. I left quickly.

i went and some one grabbed my bum bum and squeezed it really hard. i had a bruse this morning when i woke up. these shows are for hardcore queers only and no one even warned me about it.

the fog was so bad that night that about 75% of the bar left during the set. no one could breath, i'm surprised no one died

Hipsters who hate metal because they got beat up in their Ohio high school dropping the same tired sausage and hummus comments. Losers

^ as opposed to racist, homophobic, ignorant, smelly, generally offensive sausages? Yeahidonthinkso there Bubba!

Posted by Anonymous | September 13, 2012 11:33 AM

Excellent pictures that made me look up the band. See this is how you do it not by putting up 400 pictures of the crowd.
