The Secret at Acheron, July 2012 (more by Fred Pessaro // BBG)
The Secret

The Secret's return to the US this past summer was more than just a few dates with Black Breath and co, it was a chance for the band to hit the studio with Kurt Ballou to record the follow-up to 2010's Solve Et Coagula. Enter Agnus Dei, the new LP from the Italian band due via Southern Lord on October 23.

Agnus Dei is the band's newest batch of vitriol, encompassing 45 minutes over 13 songs. Stream the first song to emerge from that record, the hateful title track, below alongside the tracklisting and the art.

So far no other North American dates have been scheduled for the Italian crew, but those in the EU can look forward to catching The Secret with Touche Amore and A Storm of Light in late November/December. All tour dates are listed below.

How do you make a sausages car more aerodynamic?

Take the pizza delivery sign off the roof.

Posted by Anonymous | September 18, 2012 10:46 AM

LOL! slow day at the meaningless graphic arts job I take it!

Posted by Anonymous | September 18, 2012 10:47 AM

^ What’s the difference between a sausage and a pizza?

A pizza can feed a family of four.

Posted by Tinkerbell | September 18, 2012 10:50 AM

Seriously, just ignore the guy.

Posted by Anonymous | September 18, 2012 11:37 AM

You scarfs are so funny, but even funnier is the crumbling of their post-ironic world.

Posted by Anonymous | September 18, 2012 11:42 AM

Actually tofurkey sausage taste perfect as is, one of the best tasting vegan fake meat out there.

Posted by Anonymous | September 18, 2012 11:47 AM

You scarves are so funny, but even funnier is the crumbling of their post-ironic world.

Posted by Anonymous | September 18, 2012 11:58 AM

Saying something is "one of the best tasting vegan fake meats" is like saying a particular flesh light is "one of the best feeling fake vaginas," in that it is both
A) a moot point, and
B) gross

Posted by Anonymous | September 18, 2012 11:59 AM

10:50 ftw!

Posted by Anonymous | September 18, 2012 12:11 PM
