While ATP NY is about to go down on Pier 36 in Manhattan this weekend (9/21-23), ATP UK has just announced two 2013 festivals to go down in Camber Sands. The first happens May 10-12 and is being curated by TV on the Radio and the second on June 21-23, which is being curated by Deerhunter. Lineups for those have not been announced yet, but it has been revealed that Deerhunter will perform Cryptograms, Microcastle, and Halcyon Digest in full at theirs. Tickets for TVOTR weekend and Deerhunter weekend go on sale Thursday (9/20) at 10 AM. The flier for the two festivals is below.

In related news, Jaleel Bunton and Remi Kabaka of TVOTR are playing at the previously discussed Apple Store SoHo show tonight (9/18) with Bobby Womack, Damon Albarn, Richard Russell, and Kwes.

In other related news, Deerhunter side project Lotus Plaza just made a video for "Black Buzz," the closing acoustic track on his great 2012 album, Spooky Action at a Distance. You can watch that video below.

Video and flier below.

This "festival" is not worth anywhere near the price. It's like a lineup you'd see at a 2006 Siren Festival for free.

Yep, in 2006, before Pitchfork told you to like any of the bands involved

Posted by Anonymous | September 18, 2012 11:05 AM

"Pitchfork"? Really? At least troll with some effort. You might as well had said "Spin Magazine."

Part of me thinks "Gee, the cornerstones of this festival are TV on the Radio and Deerhunter? Really?"

Then part of me just thinks that the people who go to festivals like shittier music, and they'd probably be just as happy with The XX or Deathcab For Cutie.

uhm if you think deerhunter playing those three albums back to back is an any way a bad lineup you are a fucking moron.

Posted by Anonymous | September 18, 2012 11:15 AM

I think they have an outdoor stage under the fdr drive? That should sound FANTASTIC

Posted by Anonymous | September 18, 2012 11:16 AM

11:15 yea, only a fucking moron wouldn't want to attend a "festival" whose main draw is multiple albums from Deerhunter.

Oh and also, people who don't like Deerhunter.

The lineups haven't been released mon, chillax!

Three nights of Deerhunter at a local venue = great

Three nights of Deerhunter booked by a sketchy, financially troubled organization = pass

$290 for a weekend of great music and lodging in England is CHEAP. Sorry, not everyone enjoys going to $5 shows in kitchens in Bushwick.

Posted by Anonymous | September 18, 2012 12:36 PM

Kitchens in Bushwick is a popular place to spot ROBUST items...

Thank god you assholes have never been to Camber Sands.
Please keep ATP great by staying home.

Posted by Anonymous | September 18, 2012 12:52 PM

A group of British hipsters and rich Americans? Yea, you can keep that.

Posted by Anonymous | September 18, 2012 12:57 PM

Yes, only the very rich can afford $290. Now do excuse me, I'm off to wipe my ass with gold bars.

Posted by Anonymous | September 18, 2012 1:34 PM

$290 is no problem since we all know that airfare/lodging is free, and no big deal when ATP changes the date and the venue because they're fuckups.

Also only a moron would start a sentence with "uhm". J'accuse dunce.
