Sweden's Holograms are in town, playing their first NYC show at Mercury Lounge tonight. We like their debut album a lot which you can stream via Spotify.

Also, it's mind boggling a) that Piano's still books shows, b) that people go to the shows and c) that that bar hasn't been swallowed into the pit of douchebaggery.

Dylan was off the hook last night. Good energy, good spirits, voice was on, band was tight, great set list. The venue is pretty spectacular too, although why anyone in their right mind would think to put carpeting in the GA orchestra section when they serve beer is beyond me. Apart from that a very memorable night.
