Depeche Mode announce new album and world tour (stream a new track, dates)

Depeche Mode held a press conference in Paris today (10/23) to discuss more details on their new album and world tour, which will take place in 2013. The tour kicks off May 7 in Tel Aviv and will hit 25 countries before reaching North America sometimes in the late summer or fall. European tour dates are below.

As for the new album, the still-untitled record — the band’s 13th in their 33-year career — was produced by Ben Hillier and the band. Twenty songs have been recorded, whether they’ll all appear on the LP when it’s released in April 2013 is unclear. You can, however, hear one of the tracks (no title for it either, but has a “I Feel You” vibe) right now, below.
