Freelance Whales at Osheaga 2012 (more by Dominick Mastrangelo)
Freelance Whales

As we've mentioned before, Freelance Whales new album, Diluvia, is out next week (10/9) on Frenchkiss and Mom+Pop. You can stream the album right now over at NPR. Speaking of streaming things, the band are playing an invite-only show tonight (10/1) at Knitting Factory where they'll play the album in full, but lest you feel left out, the performance will be streamed live at 7:30 PM here.

Additionally, if you'd like to actually go to this show in person, we've got two pair of tickets to give away. Details on how to enter are below. After tonight's show at the Knit, Freelance Whales will hit the road for a tour that will wind its way around America before heading back to the East Coast, including a hometown NYC show at Webster Hall on November 1. Tickets are still available for that show and all tour dates are listed below.

Wow, Best Coast is a pathetic excuse for a band.

Hey at least they're aiming high and trying to sound like Sigur Ros with this latest release. Not just aping Fanfarlo anymore!

I'm laughing at the frowny baby in the picture and all of the people who take him and his band seriously.
